When I was 21 I worked at a discount store as the auto parts dept.
...security asked some of us to watch some guy who they knew was stealing stuff...when he was out of the store he was confronted...he ran...3 or 4 of us tackled him and held him till police came...his wife and child were there also. They were crying....he had stashed the goods in his pants. Very sad...but do not steal other peoples things ya’ dummy.

SICK TO DEATH of CORPORATE SELLOUTS.

Worst Buy is another place to BUY NOTHING, EVER!

Looking forward EVEN MORE now to seeing the local store close.

For now we’ll tolerate Amazon .. we will get to laugh at their demise in a few years.

This is BS! The guy deserves a medal and a raise.

I thought Best Buy was out of business already, at this rate they will be soon enough. Bunch of pussies...

“Our policy is clear, employees are not to chase potential criminals outside of the store. Chasing an individual in the parking lot creates a safety risk that isn’t worth taking, regardless of how noble an employee’s intention is.”

What a microcosm!

Best Buy has "smart" border sensors (the sensors at the door that alarm when you take product outside that hasn't been scanned).

Best Buy has drones (the in-store cameras that watch people).

But, once the person illegally exits the store with merchandise, the border security (Best Buy Security Guard) is not allowed to "touch" the person.

What good is all that "smart" border security if all it does is alert security to an illegal? By the time security arrives, the illegal has already cleared the border and is safe.

Security guards are there to protect property, not people.

This is not news.

Good to know that Best Buy still doesn’t want my business.

Firing him forces me to continue my “No Best Buy” policy.

Too bad... we were friends once...

He’ll get employment elsewhere, shouldn’t be a problem.

From one soldier to another, thanks Tyler. Good job. And Best Buy is no longer on my list of shopping sites. See ya.

The policy covers “potential” criminals. The man punched a police detective and was an “actual” criminal, witnessed first-hand. Cowardly beyond words. Thank the million+ ambulance chasing attorneys in this country destroying us from the inside.

Best Buy makes sure that their paying customers don’t steal anything. After you go through the checkout, you walk 10 feet and some other “employee” has to check your purchase and receipt. What is that all about?
