Kinda like after McCain showboated with the last vote to turn his thumb down to kill the bill to dump Obamacare.

They just drift off into the mist...

I think she is alive but totally incapable of work. Her clerks are writing her decisions.

If she were alert and competent, she would invite the news media in for an interview.

How long would the left be able to conceal her death?

That’s probably one of the reasons they didn’t want to have a state of the union address. If she didn’t show up people would start asking questions.

When President Trump does give the State of the Union address, in his opening remarks, he should make a brief, very gracious statement noting the fact that RBG was unable to attend, and wish her a speedy recovery. This will drive the left nuts. It will highlight the fact that she isn't there, and if they criticize him for his comments in the media, it will only serve to draw further attention to the fact that nobody has seen her in quite some time.

Reports were that she had a lobectomy. That’s where one of the five lobes of your lungs are removed.

(Not a doctor) From what I’ve seen, a healthy young adult will take months to recover, as it takes time for the lung to expand/grow to compensate. In the meantime, it will leave the patient tired and with generally low energy.

She’s in bedroom somewhere and I don’t think she’s leaving that bed.

Chief Justice Renquist ended his career in the same way. They simply will not give up power. I think it was Mark Levin who has promoted the idea of a term limit on these justices. I believe he wanted 16 years. I think it is something that needs to be discussed, because these people never seem to leave willingly.

She could have retired at some point in the Obama administration; but, didn’t. So, now Trump will choose her replacement.

Perhaps...but not all justices show to the SotU address. For continuity of government, several specifically are elsewhere.

The entire court is almost never at the State of the Union.

For Continuity of Government, you'd not want every Constitutional Officer and Justice present. Several Justices are explicitly kept away.

She’s home, working about as hard as the coaster under the untouched glass of water on her nightstand. If there’s a power outage, she’s done.

Probably from the taxidermist to the robotics department where they can install motors and widgets to make it look like she’s still alive. A wave here, a stand up there, and everyone thinks she lives.
