RBG will not remain on the SCOTUS by the end of 2019.

Unless the Democrats can hide her demise which they will try to do through November 2020 or until the Senate determines that a SCOTUS appointment has to wait for the next President. RGB can be kept "alive" but sending in her opinions andeven questions to attorneys by email. She doesn't have to actually be present. I believe she has already done that once and Oliver Wendell Holmes did it for a while though he used snail mail as email wasn't reliable back then.
