“Ghoulish” is the perfect word. That image is too bloody and sick to be explained away as “satire”, especially since it was aimed at teenagers. He doesn’t get to hide his deranged tweet behind the fact that Fargo had some funny scenes.
I’d like to see Palin get on Twitter and put the pressure back on this guy. She should make it clear that his apology is a joke, and as an aside she should let Disney know that it would be unwise to associate itself with him on any further project, especially anything aimed at youthful audiences.
Those pictures were very popular on Ft. Sill during the Iran hostage situation; just about everybody there had them taped on the back windows of their cars or trucks.
This is not apology stuff, this is you-are-sick-get-thee-to-a-shrink stuff.
Someone should explain how it really appears, yes, but not Sarah Palin. She has suffered enough. I don’t like seeing the left attack her like the crazed, rabid hyenas we now know them to be.
The worst part of Sarah being attacked is that so few conservatives speak up to support her. Maybe now would be different than a few years ago, but not by much. Most GOP still are not used to confrontation and fighting back.
I still hope to see her as part of this Administration, but it should be something she can be appointed to, not sent for another gauntlet of dummies trying to slap her down.
