KANSAS CITY, Mo. They just wont die.
The Patriots survived a wild, back-and-forth game to beat the Chiefs 37-31 in overtime in the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium. The win puts them back in the Super Bowl for the third straight year and fourth time in five years where they will face the Rams in two weeks in Atlanta.

We aren’t the Left here. We don’t make it up as we go along.
We observe rules and play by the rules. We don’t like them, we change them.
That is what conservatives do. Sometimes to our detriment, but that is what we do.
Objecting to something that’s unfair is considered “whining” in your world?
I guess you consider President Trump objecting to China’s unfair trade practices “whining” too?
lol. the fanboys and mancrushers are out tonight.
It was a phenominally enjoyable game.
You’re like Cankles whining about the electoral college.
It’s not fair. It’s not fair.
I love watching white skill player underdogs like Edelman, Hogan, Burkhead (Amendola last year) dominate the other teams year after year! Only team that would give them a chance in hell.
I didn’t say the rules make sense (they don’t).
I just said they haven’t changed during the season.
Not really. The college OT seems more fair.
He brisked Brady’s face mask on way down. Correct call by a hair
I’m sure other posters by now have corrected you, but rules can’t be changed before a game. They are changed during the offseason. The current rule has been in place for a number of years now. You stated the rule correctly. Both teams need at least one possession unless the first team scores a TD. I would say it has been in place at least 5 years.
Oh, get over it. Some people don’t let politics rule over every moment of their lives, either. NFL ratings rebounded this year. It’s a great game.
One of the best football games ever given what was at stake. They need to change the rules on the coin flip. Each team should have one offensive possession each even if the team possessing the ball first scores a TD.
The playoffs are different than the regular season. The loser goes home. Both teams should have at least one offensive possession in OT The college rules do exactly that.
True.
It was still an exceptionally stupid mistake.
Agreed.
I suspect Mahomes will get his revenge in a year or 2.
You are correct, it was not a comeback victory it was a giveaway by the Chiefs with 50 seconds left, and interception that was nullified by an offsides penalty. Game over 28 to 24 Chiefs.
The various things the NFL did to commemorate Veterans Day, this year, some extending into the following weekend, were quite appreciated, also. :-)
Yes, that was a BS call against KC as the defense was called for roughing the passer but his arm came in front of Brady it didnt hit his helmet
There was no such thing as a tuck rule years ago. The nfl made that up for the pats!
