A US Navy submarine commander has been fired after he hired ten prostitutes to party in his hotel room.
Captain Travis Zettel, of the USS Bremerton, paid for the women while his submarine was on a farewell tour of the Philippines last March.
The commander is said to have bragged to two sailors at a hotel pool that hed ordered ten girls to arrive at the hotel, according to the Kitsap Sun.
At the time the sub was docked at Subic Bay in the country.
One of the sailors then saw around ten provocatively dressed women outside the hotel entrance later that evening.
The commanders boasting was then reported to Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents.
When confronted about the allegations, Zettel admitted to investigators he had paid for female accompaniment.
During the same tour, another sailor was seen with three local females holding onto his arm as he was wandering around.
A criminal probe was launched in May.
Zettel was relieved of his command in August last year after the Navy cited a loss of confidence in his command but did not go into detail for the reasons why.
He has now been reassigned to Submarine Squadron 19 at the naval base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington state but it has not been revealed what position he holds.
The other sailor spotted with the three women has not been named and did not face any disciplinary action.

Ncis... not like TV. Find out who hired those hookers Dinozo...
I don’t condone his behavior at all, but this has been going on in military circles since the start.
The two oldest professions, soldiering followed by prostitution. I served a lot of years, and never did this, but many did. Especially when you’re in life threatening situations, it makes some people want to vet in certain ways.
Again, I’m not defending it, but you saying the once proud navy etc is false. It’s always been very big part of the military, we just never heard about it.
During the same tour, another sailor was seen with three local females holding onto his arm as he was wandering around.
They weren’t holding onto his arm, they were holding
onto his wallet.
Hey joe, you no butterfly me!
no it’s gruel, but made with more cruelty for the exceptionally moronic military prisoners.
All rules are meant to be broken at some point. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to maintain my freedom.
For example: Islam is evil.
I could get jail time for saying that here.
Gruel! It’s what’s for breakfast.
And now it comes with added cruelty!
Can I have s’more?
Does anyone know what the limit is? /sarc
Hah! Just eat Canadian rations, you’ll crave gruel after that even more.
Most authorities agree that it's ...
The Canadian Navy didn’t end supplying grog to sailors until 1972. Two years AFTER the Brits ended the practice. Libertines! LOL
I don’t know much of the Canadian navy, I had a real job lol.
Actually I do know a lot. I just have to hand out the obligatory teasing.
The guy on the right is saluting with his left hand and has something in his right hand. I’d love to know why he’s using the left hand. I guess it’s some custom and courtesy used only by the Navy.
He’s playing the bosun’s pipe, used to pipe commanders and significant others on and off the boat. You’ve probably heard that whistling sound in the movies.
He is enlisted so that is no glove on his left hand. Looks to be a kerlix bandage. Unable to hold his bosun's pipe in his left hand he uses his right. Left-hand salute is authorized because the right is necessarily engaged.
This enlisted guy is wearing white gloves ...

MrEdd? LOL - One smart horse...
You are apparently inferring that I would disapprove of reporting a rules-infraction. I was merely wondering why the accuser wasn't identified by name.
Seems only fair that if the name of the accused can be dragged through the gutter, then the name of the "meritorious comrade" who denounced him should likewise be publicized.
Regards,
By the way: What was the nature of the rules-infraction that you reported nearly 40 years ago? Did someone steal a quart of strawberries?
Was going to post the same!/Guffaw!
You’ve never seen a Bosun whistle before?
