Rather than strengthening the Executive Branch and "declaring a national emergency" where it suits the sitting POTUS, I would much rather expose the domestic enemies inside the United States. It's time for the DOJ to begin investigating who is paying the representatives of the PEOPLE to ignore us. We voted for this POTUS to Build the Wall. Give us what we voted for, or step down, or be subject to an investigation to see who is paying them to ignore us.

FORCING the Democrats to own up to this is the best course of action, in the short term I agree wholeheartedly. Due to the nature of their emotionally-charged base, the shutdown is a far greater problem for the Democrat/Left.

I agree 'gunner. Mr Root makes a lot of sense but his ego could fill a football stadium.
I almost quit reading when I came to this part:
I am bursting with pride that my idea might play a part in history.
The idea of declaring a national emergency is not new and certainly does not 'belong' to Mr. Root. There were articles about a declaration way before Mr. Root suggested it back in November.
