Yours truly- this proud conservative warrior and RJ columnist. My column was published in the Las Vegas Review Journal back on Sunday November 18th.

In advance of publication, I was the keynote speaker for the Wyoming GOP annual dinner on Friday November 16th. I explained my idea for President Trump to declare a “National Security Emergency.” I received not one, but two standing ovations. I knew I had a winning idea for the President.

So, immediately after my Wyoming speech ended, I sent my column to my great friend Lee, who is a dear friend of President Trump. He hand-delivered my column to the President of the United States at Maralago on Sunday November 18th. Lee called to tell me President Trump said, “You know how I feel about Wayne Root. I love Wayne’s columns. I promise to read it tonight.”

Today this “National Security Emergency” is known far and wide as President Trump’s leading option for building that wall, if the Democrat Congress won’t agree to a compromise. I love this country. I want to save American exceptionalism. I want to save the quality of life of the great American middle class. I want to make America great again. I am bursting with pride that my idea might play a part in history.

Rather than strengthening the Executive Branch and "declaring a national emergency" where it suits the sitting POTUS, I would much rather expose the domestic enemies inside the United States. It's time for the DOJ to begin investigating who is paying the representatives of the PEOPLE to ignore us. We voted for this POTUS to Build the Wall. Give us what we voted for, or step down, or be subject to an investigation to see who is paying them to ignore us.

Trump invokes national emergency...
Trump invokes the NDAA and arrests the dem leadership, rogue dem governors, influential communist symps and security threats in the media and hollywood...
Send them to Diego Garcia for military trials...
Shut down the border to all but legitimate cargo...
Get going on the wall, shoot to kill for transgressors...
Round up the illegals from every nook and cranny and deport them...
Recind anchor-baby and other ‘laws’ undermining our system...
Once said traitors are executed or imprisoned, return the country to a state of normalcy.

I agree 'gunner. Mr Root makes a lot of sense but his ego could fill a football stadium.

I almost quit reading when I came to this part:

The idea of declaring a national emergency is not new and certainly does not 'belong' to Mr. Root. There were articles about a declaration way before Mr. Root suggested it back in November.
