Emmy Award-winning actor Steve Buscemi’s wife, Jo Andres, has died at the age of 65.

A source close to the family confirmed her death to Fox News.

The two wed in 1987 and have one son, Lucian, E! News reported.

Andres was a choreographer, filmmaker and artist. She gained prominence with her “film/dance/light performances,” her website stated.

Her funeral was held at their home in New York City earlier this week, TMZ reported. Guests reportedly included his "Big Lebowski" co-star John Turturro.

“Boardwalk Empire” star Buscemi, 61, said in 2009 that his favorite work of art was something done by his wife.

This is a fantastic movie and Buscemi was great in it.

He was Tony Blundetto in the Sopranos, and the starring character in Boardwalk Empire.

I am sorry to hear this, he’s a solid character actor who keeps his politics to himself. I pray that he will find salvation, comfort and solace in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was awesome in Boardwalk. I enjoyed that show for as long as I could. Some great acting. Some sickening scenes and plots.

“I don’t know anything about his politics but I do know he was FDNY and after 911 he came back to his old Manhattan station and dug through rubble looking for remains.”

I’d forgotten about that. Buscemi is a good actor, and if he’s a lefty as some have mentioned at least he hasn’t been loud about it.

"Sure he's a liberal..."

As is Paul McCartney, John Fogerty, Jimmy Buffett, Al Pacino et. al.

I'm as rock-ribbed conservative as anyone you'll find, but I consider all of the above uber-geniuses in their craft, and I can't force myself to let their politics interfere with the joy and pleasure they've brought me since I was a teenager.

I think Pat Boone, Tom Selleck, Vince Vaughn and James Woods are great, too...but I'm not going to limit my appreciation to their work based solely on their political viewpoints.

In other words, I forgive them for being political idiots.

Outstanding film based upon historical facts, except for the license taken concerning the details surrounding the death of Laverenti Baria. He died an ignominious death, just not that quickly.

Is it just me, or is he looking more like Don Knotts as he ages?

Fantastic actor, seems like a great guy as well. So sorry for his loss.
