I get the feeling that sooner or later you are going to find the name Joe Manchin mixed-up in this grubby little scam.

Color me shocked. Naw. Just kidding.

I haven’t even had so much as a flu shot. There is a reason for that.

Doesn’t all drug companies do this? Giveaways to docs in the form of money, trips, and other goodies? That is the information I received from multiple medical sources.

I have several times suspected doctors of offering prescriptions because of incentives rather than for medical reasons. When I have that concern, I always get a second opinion, and I almost always find that the second doctor does not recommend any prescription at all or recommends a much milder alternative. I also stop going to that doctor if I disagree with a recommendation and the second opinion backs up my conclusion. Note: I’m about 60 years old and not on any regular prescriptions at all.

link to look up your doctor and see what they’ve been paid by big pharma...there’s another site the lists exactly what the money was designated for (the cover up)
I couldn’t find that link (this link is accurate to 2016)

Not uncommon in various forms.

A doctor told me the practice could earn bonuses, if a certain target percent of their patients were vaccinated.

Health care has certainly changed over the past several decades. You have probably noticed that as soon as you have explained your symptoms to the doctor - he whips out his/her prescription pad and sends you on your way.

A relative was explaining to me how the large chain pharmacies charge a lot more (X6) for one prescription than her local drug store.

What I also find disturbing is the number of anti-depressants that are routinely prescribed for the normal stresses and anxieties of everyday life. We are becoming zombies. Our grandparents dealt with far more serious challenges and weathered storms with faith and family.

Diet and exercise - used to be home cooked fresh products and physical labor. Medicine was an aspirin!!!!

I was peripherally involved in this case as an SIU manager working on behalf of a major worker’s comp insurer. As it turned out, the lead FBI agent on the case is a good friend from college I hadn’t spoke to in many years.
