Leave it partially shut down for months if it takes that long and watch the RATS squirm. Then they can all sit down together and in 45 minutes or less, it will all happen.

Trump is meeting with the Republicans now. At about 3:00 PM Eastern time, he will be meeting with the DemonRATs.
What i want to know is, supposedly there has already been $25 billion dollars allocated for the wall in previous administrations- so where the hell has the money gone to? Certainly not to the wall! Where is it?! What was it spent on?! There should be an investigation into where the money went! Get Mueller on this issue immediately- put him to work on something with actual substance to it instead of this sham investigation he’s running now!

Maybe Chuck and Nancy went out last night to celebrate their wonderful performances and are still too hung over to make it to the White House.
With only 12 percent of the voting public agreeing with Chuck and Nancy that there’s no problem at our southern border, you’d think they’d be eager to end this brouhaha as soon as possible. But apparently not.
What are they waiting for? Are they planning to keep the shutdown going indefinitely so that they can bring an endless stream of bedraggled out-of-work government employees before the cameras to blame Donald Trump for starving them to death?
The White House’s next move should be to convene a White House meeting of Washington,DC churches, synagogues, social-service agencies, etc., to prepare for meeting the needs of Chuck and Nancy’s made-to-order flocks of poverty-stricken sheep.

I think you need to go back and learn conditional tense and difference between an invitation and a scheduled meeting.

You were right. There was a meeting today. I did not believe that the Democrats would actually show, but they did.
And President Trump walked out immediately when Pelosi said she would not fund the border wall in exchange for resolving the budgetary shutdown. He called the meeting "a waste of time". I suppose that he knew that before going into the meeting.
All perfectly correct in my view. The Democrats have always played hardball with funding and holding hostage anything that the Republicans said they wanted. It's about time a Republican played that same game back against them.
One of my "Generation Z" colleagues - a recent high school graduate - has parents who are Federal employees and currently on furlough. We joke that he is now the sole breadwinner in the family and must now turn over his paycheck to his mom every two weeks.
Are we going to see a declaration of emergency? Will the Government be funded by January 14th or will this go on longer? Beats me at this point.
This appears to be a zero-sum game. I hope that the Democrats break hard and soon.

For your information I was always a Trumper even back when the Cruz bots were outraged at all Trumpests.
This is where the Federal Aviation Administration resides. Although much could be negatively discussed about this Institution, the fact that the efficiency of the air traffic in this country is a direct result of the 24/7 efforts of the Air Traffic Controllers might give pause in governmental discourse; to wit, what's gonna happen in a few weeks when these men and women have to leave their positions to get a paying job (re: food, mortgage, utilities, etc.?)
Or, the one fifth who are eligible will retire in order to get a paycheck? I hope the country sees that Nanci and Chuck are responsible for the shut down of our air traffic system.
