JACKSON, MISS. A grocery store in Mississippi was closed down and a security guard was injured Saturday night after six women got into fight inside the business, WAPT reported.
The guard was hurt when he tried to break up the fight at the Food Depot in Jackson, the television station reported.
According to witnesses, the women threw cantaloupes and produce and hit the guard in the head with a glass bottle of syrup, WAPT reported.
In addition to a floor full of fruit and vegetables, the women left torn-out hair extensions and broken merchandise, the television station reported.
Store supervisor Mike Rosamond said the matter is still being investigated by the Jackson Police Department, and so far there have been no arrests, the Clarion-Ledger reported. One reason was because all the women left the store before police arrived, WJTV reported.

Haven't seen an explanation.
Gosh it’s hard to imagine why some parts of this country were going to Hell in a hand basket under the Lying Kenyan.
That was painful to watch.
Loved it when George C. Scott started announcing the price cuts. That’s about when I came into the movie many, many, many years ago.
“Hey, you grabbed the last tin of caviar”
“Get that other one”
“Girl, that caviar is domestic. There ain’t no Sturgeon in these waters. You better give me that tin or I’ll buss yo head”
You really have to see early on when Scott’s being committed, and he meets Woodward’s Dr. Watson, and figures out why a patient (”Cracker Jacks” actor, I think) won’t talk.
Probably a man.
Reminds me of this comment I heard one time.
“I know JaVon love me mo’ then he do you. I done had two of his babies an’ you only haz one.”
........ I didn’t need to read the whole story.
As I immediately guessed, this was yet another savage Ghettopotamus brawl. I hope all of these skanks go to jail.
Disgraceful!!
One of these days I’ll have to watch it again. Saw the ending the other day.
I guess it came from behind them. I thought it was from the front.
Sad. I suppose there weren’t many ways it could have ended.
I have to think these fights are staged. There is a lot of flailing arms and hair pulling with some half-hearted thumps on well padded arms but no real hits.
I was always taught to make the first blow count because you may not get another. The women had several openings to hit the nose and jaw but did not.
Just saw a security guard in my super market today. Not sure why; its pretty much 99% white here. Kids stealing?
I really don’t know. Un-armed to boot so just a show piece.

Well, the leading grocery chain in Jackson used to be the Jitney Jungle.
They went broke after the New York bankers loaded them up with debt and looted the chain. (No, Bain wasn’t involved in that one).
That was when I knew Eugene, OR had gone, or was rapidly going sh*thole. A security guard outside the Safeway. I heard it was to counter shoplifting by students at the nearby high school. That was late ‘80’s.
“...the women left torn-out hair extensions...”
All I need to know.
Our local Food Lion manager’s office is now behind a buzzable door. It had been on a corner platform with a wood barrier around it, all the canned salmon behind the fence (street barter) and a shotgun on the wall behind that.
Lots of college babes there in the summertime like they just came from the beach (nice). When the hijabi Muslimahs from the local mosque see them, some dirty looks ensue.
How would the reporter know what the fight was about? All the women fled before the cops arrives. Nobody was arrested.
If I were a betting man, I'd say there's a shared "baby daddy" that all these women have in common. Either this or one of them dissed the other on Facebook.
The reporter could have watched the video five minutes before the fight broke out and he might have learned what caused it. Or asked a store employee.
Good grief! A grocery store has to have guards!

You obviously haven’t been to Jackson lately
