True, but more and more, I'm seeing stories of forced break-ins by groups of armed thugs.
As criminals change tactics, potential targets must up their defensive strategies.
Look at the Colt Gatling gun imagine it on a stand by your bed, or in the picture window with the curtains open on a bright shiny day.
True.
Stay out of my dreams!
Thank God I'm in the gun friendly state of Texas. I'd go nuts living with those kinds of restrictions on my natural right to keep and bear arms.
It doesn't have to stay that way in your state, but it takes work on the part of the citizenry to TAKE back their rights.
It’s going to take a lot of work. But I think those of us who are inclined to freedom will persist.
There ya go. Nothing will change unless you and your fellow Coloradans demand it. Constant pressure from citizens and gun rights groups have successfully improved gun laws all over the country.
It can be done.
I miss my Model 1897 WINCHESTER Pump 12 Gauge Shotgun.
The Winchester Model 1897 was designed by American firearms inventor John Moses Browning. The Model 1897 was first listed for sale in the November 1897 Winchester catalog as a 12 gauge solid frame.
The tubular magazine under the barrel has a five-round capacity, and there is no disconnector in the fire-control system, allowing the shotgun to be slam-fired. Holding the trigger down and pumping the slide will fire the gun as the bolt locks into the breech. This feature has been discontinued in modern shotguns, but it ensured the 97s popularity as a military trench gun. Not to mention the movie The Magnificent Seven is a 1960 American Western film.
The following is said with tongue in cheek:
This shot gun, like all of John Moses Browning designs, suffered from the one fault that Browning could not fix,----It seemed to ALWAY'S run out of ammo. ;-)
If my dog doesn’t scare you off, I will be using my Glock 23 to defend my wife and myself.
I don’t have a dog or a wife.
But, I have a 23.
And other stuff.
Remember Eric Claptons song CocaineTry it replacing cocaine with 12 guage, it amuses me sometimes. Just saying.
It's not that they didn't commit the crimes. However, the police and DA were MUCH more hesitant to arrest and convict. They referred to the blind eye toward women as "street justice". A benefit of more advanced equality of opportunity...
Makes me rethink both of my “near at hand” bedroom tools: Ruger LCR 38* and Mossberg Maverick in 12 gauge. I think I’ll switch things around to put a 15 round Glock at hand.
I dunno, with burglars in the house you might be surprised by what a shot of adrenaline you get.
That is because with the advent of ubiquitous cameras it is no longer tenable for the cops to write those things off - they will show up on YouTube and then there the department is with it’s pants down having never logged the incident.
Crime didn’t change, rather, the reporting procedures changed.
The video says that 2 were deceased and that they are looking for a vehicle, indicating possibly a wheelman that got away.
The three injured were allowed to live so they can spread the word not to mess with this house ever...........
Meth?
