New Years Day featured Elizabeth Warren going live on Instagram in order to build her brand. Warren has announced her 2020 Candidacy for the office of President.
The camera shot featured her kitchen as she drank a beer, the better to seem more relatable to middle-class voters.
Sharp-eyed netizens deconstructed the appearance of her kitchen background, however, and turned up the type of ceramic figurine that would immediately doom a Conservative candidate.
No word yet from Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton.
A close up of embossed lettering on the back of the figure reveals this bizarre ‘comical’ message;
“Ahh sho’ do luvs me sum wadder-millin, jess like ma Pappy did too!!”

The offending watermelon is right under the ears in the close up. Not so in the distant shot.
The shelf item looks like a teddy bear to me. The object on the shelf and in the close up are not the same shape.

Question is, should Warren be pilloried for casual racism or for extremely poor taste in tacky kitsch?
