Well here are a few money sources.
Americas top 15 largest banks In the years since the financial crisis, the nations biggest banks have grown substantially. All in all, the top 15 largest banks now hold a combined total of $13.2 trillion in assets.
For a sense of the vast scale of that wealth, $13.2 trillion is enough to buy every one of the 7.6 billion human beings on Earth a 13-inch MacBook Pro, with a little left over for accessories.
Of course, every year there are changes in this exclusive club. Larger banks trade places with one another, and smaller banks drop out, replaced by faster-growing rivals.
This year, you need at least $201.3 billion in assets to join the club, a sum so large that, if converted into $100 bills laid end to end, would reach the moon (with several thousand miles left over to check out the view).
Here are the 15 largest banks in the U.S. by assets, according to the latest numbers from S&P Global Market Intelligence, a financial industry research firm.
Rank Bank name Total assets 1 JPMorgan Chase & Co. $2.53 trillion 2 Bank of America Corp. $2.28 trillion 3 Wells Fargo & Co. $1.95 trillion 4 Citigroup Inc. $1.84 trillion 5 Goldman Sachs Group Inc. $917 billion 6 Morgan Stanley $851.86 billion 7 U.S. Bancorp $462.04 billion 8 TD Group US Holdings LLC $380.91 billion 9 PNC Financial Services Group Inc$380.77 billion 10 Bank of New York Mellon Corp. $371.76 billion 11 Capital One Financial Corp. $365.69 billion 12 State Street Corp. $238.42 billion 13 BB&T Corp. $221.64 billion 14 SunTrust Banks Inc. $205.96 billion 15 HSBC USA Inc. $201.30 billion
So are you proposing DJT just take the money from the big banks? Since when is that a conservative value? Or am I misunderstanding your post?
my thought as well. if property isn’t secure, nothing is secure. people are losing their damn minds.
LOL you mean armed robbery is not exactly conservative?
We’re spending over 40 billion a year to observe Afghan corruption up close.
I thought early on that Trump would be able to get a wall done. Seemed like pretty low hanging fruit.
Mark Levin is going to pay for it.
Excuse me if I am wrong, but couldn’t this all be solved in a day with an executive order, declaring a national emergency and mandating $25 billion be set aside and wall construction be started immediately without any permission being needed from the Marxists? So WHY isn’t he doing it??
I’ll take cash instead of a Macbook Pro.
the gofundme idea is actually more insane and ultimately unworkable than this guy’s “go rob a bank” idea — although it does have the virtue of not being blatantly illegal.
There weren’t enough votes in the Senate for it.
Mississippi Rep. Steven Palazzo has introduced a bill for WALL BONDS, the modern day spirit of War Bonds.
Sounds like a plausible idea to me!!
Forget it. He’s rolling.
Because he wants to get re-elected in 2020. Just watch what he does if re-elected. In the meanwhile PDJT is making democrats look anti-border-security and who ever is the democrat nominee in 2020 will be stuck with that agenda.
His primary job as president is the safety and security of the American people.
And he is over the Defense Department in his administration.
Sounds like a an easy fix to me. Just draw up a little EO to make it legal and bingo, the deed is done.
But then I'm just sitting here typing on my computer and he's the President of the United States, so what do I know.
Correct, the real culprits in stopping the wall are globalist republicans, who must obey their donor class.
We don’t need wall bonds, gofundme crap or anything else along those lines....Our problem is an irreparably corrupt fed govt that REFUSES to protect the American people and the states from invasion. Their primary reason for being.
We need people in D.C. by the millions.
Like your tag-line. Reason Trump is trying to get funding through the normal channels of congressional appropriations is so that the MSM won’t attack him 24-7 as a radical dictator. And Trump is running for re-election. Watch out if he wins re-election. The wall will get built in his 2nd term. Count on it.
I think he made a mistake failing to take them on for it too.
Lot more chance of success with resolving a government shutdown to achieve your signature campaign promise in the first year of your term when both sides of Congress are your party.
If he doesn’t get it out of this shutdown, when does he - his last year?
