You really need to understand this issue. Its Mastercard demanding Patreon dump someone for something he said. Not on Patreon, or on You Tube. He just undered the word N***R and Mastercard insisted that anyone associated could not use their service. Also, others got the same treatment.

Very incisive point, which is doubly infuriating because not only is it true, but the very forces trying to bend some company to their will are the very forces that will destroy and bankrupt that company in the end due to their Leftist efforts.
They will destroy those things they seek to control. Then, when they have laid waste to everything, they will have to be fought like vermin to remove their rat-like clutches from the levers of power in order to return liberty and prosperity to people.
And like some hideous parasitic organism that must go dormant and begin looking for a gullible and hospitable host to infect, when things get better after millions of lives lost and untold misery has been inflicted on people, the forces of totalitarian Leftism will arise again.
Why can we not put a bloody stake through its heart? I guess it is human nature, and because of that, we seem condemned to this following cycle as described by G. Michael Hopf:

The point to take out of all this is that they are attacking on all fronts, it doesn’t even have to be a lot of them, just some people working out of a building with phones and faxes (like the Southern Poverty Law Center) that is going to cow a corporation, who is going to go right along with it for fear of being branded...(INSERT YOUR LEFTIST EPITHET HERE)

I simply cannot watch television or read magazines anymore. The pandering is nauseating. Oddly enough, they don’t don’t engage in this PC behavior because they are forced into it to avoid a public flogging, they do it because they believe in it.
Which is worse, IMO.
This occurred several years ago. Any account holder at that time with a Master Card was re-issued a Visa Card with chip.
But they can’t “believe” all of it because it ends up being hypocritical. I can’t think of a perfect example this second but SO MANY pc opinions exactly are the opposite of some other pc opinion. Them “believing” it doesn’t make sense.

I don’t think there is anything conservative about using the N-word. Whatever one thinks about “free speech” the fact remains that it is legitimate for private agents in society to enact some standards of decency.
It is conservative to defend free speech and that was what he was doing. It is conservative to defend the rights of all people and black people are not excepted. Their rights are just as vital.
And I don’t understand your “Whatever one thinks about ‘free speech’”... what one should think about freespeech, is that it is to be defended at all costs. NAZIs and Communists are against free speech. Free speech is among the first things to go in a totalitarian society.
I can’t even imagine that saying the “N” word is considered conservative. It’s just hateful. But it’s stupid to punish someone to this extent, even though they were mighty stupid to say it. This isn’t the ‘30s!
You realize that its said everyday, by millions of American people. And its not generally meant as “I hate you”. It was a word that was on regular prime time TV from the 1960s to the 1980s. Its most common usage was a black version of “white Trash” although it could mean just a black person. It has been played on regular radio in the 60’s and 70’s and still is common on urban stations. In the black community you will commonly hear mothers call there children using the N-word.
I agree that there is nothing conservative about the word or its use. But liberals seem to be able to use the word with little affect. While conservatives will lose their jobs for ever uttering the word regardless of context.
Does anyone really believe that the N word is such a horrible thing that it caused an entire nation to consider it a hate crime to even utter it?
Where and when I grew up, nigger and honkey were common words to use against others. But honkey wasn’t considered so horrible that laws were passed to consider it a hate crime.
I grew up in an area and time where it was used often and no big deal (just as honkey was). Then, it wasn’t ok anymore.

Well they call each other the N word a lot....even in their music they put out there. So I’ll never understand the grip.
When I was a little kid, I used that word one day [ok, I was a brat.]. The cleaning lady from next door, who lived in a little house in back of the big one, sat my brother and me down on our back steps and explained how that word made her and others feel. I never used it again [that I can recall] and felt very uncomfortable when I heard others do so.
It had such an effect on me that she was kind and she told it like it was. Maybe more people should have a neighbor like her.
Why? It’s just a word. Who could be so tormented by a word? That’s insane. Should other words be off limits too? Honkey? Cracker? Whore? Slut? Or the vernacular for body parts. Twat, cunt, dick offend me. We should ban those too.
Why is nigger such a slam? Especially when so many songs, rap songs, and various media use it in the vernacular. What the hell is so awful about it that isn’t awful about all these other horrible words?
I think we should ban cracker and honkey. Those words offend me and point to my culture. Same with slut and whore. I’m a woman and those are offensive.

Well that’s because only certain people are allowed to say certain words. It’s insane. I can’t say nigger but someone else can say honkey which is just as awful for those who think it’s awful (I don’t because it’s just a word with awful connotations but whatever I don’t care, it doesn’t define me or make me nuts like the “N” apparently makes others nuts).
Or white trash? why isn’t that just as awful? Or trailer trash? Or Redneck? Redneck is used by many, especially on the left, as a slam against white, southern people. Why is that ok?

I’m from the city so those terms don’t apply to me. But I thought for many years that I was part Cherokee because one of my aunts said we were part indian, cherokee, because we were so wild. My Mom laughed and said you’re half Italian and half Irish.
School friends were called WOPS. It was a slam (without papers). We thought it meant an italian, lol. Or a dago. Or others. Why is nigger so bad? Who gives a damn? I one’s identity or worth is based on something so inconsequential then they’re nuts.
