HS “degrees” must be fairly lax these days, not to mention the first several years of college, esp. the “required” humanities ...

What a great story. This kid from Kansas managed to get a prestigious degree from Harvard without being immersed in their hate America culture for four years.

Braxton Moral is on track to graduate from the Bachelor of Liberal Arts program, with a major government and a minor in English, said Harry Pierre, associate director of communications for Harvard's Division of Continuing Education. Braxton Moral said he hopes to attend Harvard Law School next. "Politics is end game for me," he said, though he's still too young to vote.

*Groan* Harvard is going to turn him into a humongous liberal if they haven't already done it. And just what we need, another Harvard Law grad whose end game is politics. *GROAN*

C'mon, kid. Go into math, physics, engineering, anything but liberal arts, law and politics!

Pretty much anyone can take extension courses at Harvard—that’s basically their adult ed offering.

Albert is smart, he's a genius
Watch Albert putter, an obvious genius
Someday he will reassess the world
And he'll still have time for lots of girls
Talent is an asset, you've got to understand that
Talent is an asset and little Albert has it
Talent is an asset and Albert surely has it.

All that talent to produce another lawyer. What a waste.

Benjamin Rush, one of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, graduated from the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) at the age of 14. But I don't think he had a high school diploma. He had entered as a junior at age 13. He had studied Latin and Greek and later wrote a dissertation in Latin (De Coctione Ciborum in Ventriculo) for his M.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh.

But he never went to Harvard.
