I also predict that the broadcast crews will talk incessantly about scenarios and display fascination at what could happen if the Indy/TN game ends in a tie.
What if all the games end in a tie? Kool, Terry.
NFL is missing opportunity by having all 8 games start at 4:25. All will be ending at same time, and fans can’t watch them.
If they insist on this fairness, they could start AFC at 4:15 and NFC at 4:45. No reason LAC and KC cannot start at 5:15.
I haven’t been watching, but was surprised to learn that Dallas may actually be in the play-offs.
That could save Garrett’s job.
I noticed that too, about bowl games. It seems that ESPN and some other regional sports channels are the ones showing them.
With over 40 bowl games, they become little more than participation trophy bowls. I saw one list that had opponents in one bowl game with a 6-6 records each. That doesn’t make for much excitement.
Schedule for tomorrow:

We watch The Red Zone, but it’s not the same as seeing all the games:

Still, it’s an option.
My goodness, trish!
Boycott the NFL Network.
Disconnect cable. And yer home fone.
Happy New Year, Pete!
Merry 5th day of Christmas, Trish.
And belated happy Feast of Stephen.

Thank you, Pete.
I’ll go with Clemson and Bama today. NFL picks to follow.
SUNDAY, DEC 30, 2018 (All Times Eastern)
Atlanta at Tampa Bay 1:00 pm FOX Raymond James Stadium Two teams that aren't playing for anything but pride. Atlanta has the better potential. Falcons.
Carolina at New Orleans 1:00 pm FOX Mercedes-Benz Superdome The Saints have the NFC Number 1 locked up; Drew Brees is not even playing. And Carolina without Cam Newton? Bah humbug. Saints.
Dallas at N.Y. Giants 1:00 pm FOX MetLife Stadium Another lost season for the G-Men. Cowboys are set in the playoff hierarchy. Maybe Saquon Barkley runs wild? Giants.
Detroit at Green Bay 1:00 pm FOX Lambeau Field They are still the Packers and Lambeau Field is still Lambeau Field. And the Lions are still the Lions. Packers.
Jacksonville at Houston 1:00 pm CBS NRG Stadium What a disappointing season for Jacksonville. At least it will be over tomorrow. Texans.
Miami at Buffalo 1:00 pm CBS New Era Field Buffalo wants to end the season on a positive note. And a December game in upstate does not suit the Phish. Bills.
N.Y. Jets at New England 1:00 pm CBS Gillette Stadium I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is the last game of the Todd Bowles era for the Jets, win or lose. But it will be a 'lose'. Patriots.
Arizona at Seattle 4:25 pm FOX CenturyLink Field The Seahawks just beat KC. I don't think they'll drop one to the woeful Cards at home. Seahawks.
Chicago at Minnesota 4:25 pm FOX U.S. Bank Stadium The Bears are steaming towards the playoffs. They will roll over the Vikings. Grade Kirk Cousins in his first season for the Vikings ... worth all that money?! Bears.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 4:25 pm CBS Heinz Field The Steelers need to win to have any chance of qualifying for the playoffs. And the Bungles have simply fallen off a cliff. Another coaching era comes to an end with this game; Marvin Lewis is done. Steelers.
Cleveland at Baltimore 4:25 pm CBS M&T Bank Stadium Ravens need to win to win the division and get a home playoff game. But surprise - the Browns are actually good and are no pushover. Ravens will not disappoint though (as they did last year). Ravens.
L.A. Chargers at Denver 4:25 pm CBS Broncos Stadium at Mile High Chargers will rebound from their loss last week as Denver is just simply incompetent. Chargers.
Oakland at Kansas City 4:25 pm CBS Arrowhead Stadium Despite the Raiders winning last week, I'm not ready to jump on the Silver-and-Black bandwagon. Chiefs.
Philadelphia at Washington 4:25 pm FOX FedEx Field Super-sub Nick Foles will work his magic again. Eagles.
San Francisco at L.A. Rams 4:25 pm FOX Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Even though the Rams will be resting, they will still have enough to beat the Niners. Rams.
Indianapolis at Tennessee 8:20 pm NBC Nissan Stadium The winner is in the playoffs, the loser is done for the season. Gotta go with Luck and Company. Colts.
Good luck Everyone! And A Happy New Year to All!
There’s no may about it, Dallas is in!
