When you get “axed” by the Travel Channel, you’re done.
Well, I believe him as he’s a Minnesota boy and should know midwest better than most...
Of course, he was a heroin addict and had to go through treatment three times...
Good oriental food in the middle of Kansas is just as common as fresh seafood.
I dont know about the Midwest, but he certainly would have been right about the South. Theres no scarier restaurant than a Chinese Buffet down here!
All of these tv chefs and traveling tv foodies are deeply obnoxious, conceited and annoying so I’m not surprised another one’s mouth ran away from him. Whether he should be fired is another thing.
I’m in a different region of the country now and cannot find decent Chinese food. Sad!
They got caught taking their dog out for a wok.

Hey, it’s a steady seller.
Not long and I’ll bet they start adding gizzards and livers.
Will admit I love a large order of gizzards with hot sauce for lunch.
One of the virtues of being Chinese is that you can't stand to waste anything. Think about it.

Wisconsin Chinese food often comes with a side of roach legs while the meat comes from various disappeared pets ...
only the un-battered shrimp and salmon is safe to eat because they come straight from shrimp and salmon farms, having digested wholesome food coloring, delicious cuprous oxides (salt water bottom paint), various hormones, and antibiotics so you know they are tasty and disease free.
