I admire adults that get enjoyment from video games.
Far from being adolescent, they are somehow able to hold on to that part of being a kid that made life so much fun.

Sadly, I will never wander the landscape of post apocalyptic West Virgina.
As a WV resident, I'm a little curious what post apocalyptic West Virginia looks like. Is it different from how it looks now?

Your information is incorrect. You have to buy the game, just like any other version of Fallout. There is no charge for an online account.

My mother in law got it for me for Christmas, but I’m still playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m 42, married, father of two, and pay my taxes on time. Therefore, I will play video games to my heart’s content and won’t give any thought to whether or not I “should” still be playing them.

I purchased Red Dead Redemption II and am so mad at it. I was in the second scene and all of a sudden my rifle is gone, so I can’t go on. I had a rifle at the end of the first scene. I turned it off, and came back the next day. Is that a glitch?

My oldest son plays Fallout, has a YouTube Channel, and creates mods that he uploads to Nexus Mods. He also does live streams. He's the geek in the family. This is a hobby for him. The mods he creates are for PC only. He doesn't own a console, doesn't want one, and will not post any of his stuff on Bethesda.net. I'm old, and don't play those games, and don't understand anything about the different versions of the game, but perhaps you might enjoy his channel.

Fallout 76 has got to be the biggest case of bait and switch perpetrated upon a huge subculture in American history. Bethesda should be sued out of business. Maybe then other game developers will think twice before treating their consumers like garbage.

Welcome to my reality. Bethesda killed Fallout for me when they made it a first-person shooter, which I can’t play because all modern FPS have uncanny-valley features that make me physically nauseous and inflict vertigo. Prior to their uncalled-for conversion from RPG to FPS, it was my single favorite game franchise.
