To chime in on the iodine discussion, I got some concentrated drops a couple months ago.
A couple drops in a glass of water once a day.
I was on the regime for a week or so and felt less ‘salt cravings’. Then I forgot about it. I suppose I should start that up again as it seemed to make me feel better and not crave so much salty/fatty food.
That was also taken in concert with magnesium and mineral supplements.
If you end up going ‘no salt,’ you taste it every time something has salt in it.
There is salt in JELL-O.
More of a bad slide than a discussion. I have seen something about elemental Iodine. I don’t know much about it. I don’t think I will lose weight until winter is over I am afraid. (Maybe I need to try mall walking.)
