Hmm, what do these cities have in common?

The biggest building in the town nearest me was torn down when the grain elevator closed

Rudy straightened out NYC...mainly with a no-apologies policing policy. To his credit Doomberg continued those policies.Comrade Wilhelm has gone full Maoist...which shouldn't surprise anyone.
San Fransicko? Let it slide into the Pacific.

It is all too too sad one party rule allowed these places to go too too bad many once called home. Minneapolis BTW has just prohibited the construction of single dwelling units will soon be listed too.

The rich and powerful are now in a coalition with the poor masses. Their home turf is in NYC, SF, LA, DC and Seattle.
Their present day so-called successes are nothing more than the fruits of what they have vanquished, the American middle class.
Their coalition and their plan will fail.

I don’t have a good feeling about Pittsburgh in that regard. The current Mayor seems to be on a drive to turn the place into San Francisco on the Monongahela. All about making the Burgh the gayest-friendliest place on the planet and destroying perfectly good roads to build bike paths.

Seattle does not want to become San Francisco, a fate that has come to refer exclusively to the citys worst traits: its $5,000-a-month rents, its homeless encampments and the ever-present dissonance between those two. Seattle is the discount edition of San Francisco...with $3,500-a-month rents. :)
