More gun confiscations... This time in Vermont, based on Vermont's new "Red Flag" law, which allows authorities to seize someone's guns if something about the person, his guns, his beliefs, or perhaps his dog's affiliations (who knows with these jackals?) raises a red flag in the eyes of law enforcement.
Click to watch the 5m26s YouTube video that explains what happened.
Just sayin'.
One very good reason not to have all your assets in one location.
I highly recommend having some in other locations.
I’m in agreement with the “red flag”.
I think that the “red flag” should apply to anyone who follows the hate literature called the Koran which MANDATES and CODIFIES the killing of Christians and Jews.
In particular, and out of equity, extra attention needs to be given to the anti contitutional special needs group, those who believe in sharia.
**Google censoring news again**
I’ve noticed several important news bookmarks I have kept from Google and Yahoo news now lead to Error 404.
And another local rag:

How about Indiana? I tried to buy a handgun 10 days ago, denied. I have no idea why. Seat belt violation 6 months ago? Is that possible? First gun I tried to buy from an FFL in 20 years.
How about a hotline to report bad drivers? Their car will be towed away, just for a few weeks while their driving skills are re-evaluated. After all, it’s for the children.
There are a lot of places in rural VT that are quite live and let live. The taxes are horrifying, though.
And sadly, there is a ton of poverty and a LOT of spousal abuse. The really rural parts can be rife with drugs and morons.
But, the people with the biggest hearts Ive ever known were in VT. Of course, most of THEM are dead.
Middlebury might just as well be Cambridge. There is a world of difference between Ny/Vermont, and Vermont/Vermont.
Well, if you make a threat against a named person, including day, date, time, and method, you probably do buy a chitty-chat with law enforcement, and if you have a side deal to procure weapons, that probably should be stopped.
As to why anyone would want to live in Vermont? If you dream of a white Christmas (in both senses of the word) it’s a pretty nice place.
Florida has this red flag law thanks to then Gov Scott.

Very useful sites.

That’s why I save such articles to hard disk.
Well, Vermont does have Constitutional Carry and a very low Crime Rate (probably because 95% of the Populace is Caucasian).
Vermont is a very confusing State. Apparently it’s full of Armed Communists.
Wow! Taking guns from people not even related to the action. Why stop there? They should take every gun in the neighborhood.
They were locked up (in the home){of the uncle}, but one of these kids said he had access to them and could get them. So we took advantage of that extreme risk order statute that was passed. We needed to separate the person from their ability to do this.
Interesting discussion of this here:
This doesn’t sound like a proper application of Vermont’s red-flag law at all.
Erring on the side of caution is one thing, but lets see whether the prosecutor tries to extend the 15 day temporary holding period for the weapons.
