“Just now around Manbij, there is Kurdish forces, local forces, US forces, French forces, Syrian Army forces and Russian forces ... all on the same side, which is hilarious.”

What a war...

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The Syrian army announced on Friday that its forces had entered the northern city of Manbij following a call by the Kurdish YPG for government troops to control the city and protect these areas against a Turkish invasion.
Stemming from the complete commitment of the Syrian Army in assuming its responsibilities to impose sovereignty to each inch of the Syrian territories and in response to calls of locals of Menbej city, the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces announces the entry of units of Syrian Arab Army to Menbej city and the hoisting of the Syrian Arab flag, read a statement from the army using a different spelling from Manbij, reported state-run SANA news Agency.
The deployment came after the Kurdish Peoples Protection Units (YPG) declared their withdrawal and invited government forces to enter the city.
Due to the invading Turkish states threats to invade northern Syria and displace its people similarly to al-Bab, Jarablus and Afrin, we as the Peoples Protection Units, following the withdrawal of our forces from Manbij, announce that our forces will be focusing on the fight against ISIS on all the fronts east of the Euphrates, read a statement from YPG.
It added that this fact pushed them to invited the Syrian army which is obliged to protect the same country, nation and borders and also protect Manbij from Turkish threats.
NIKK...part of article
I wonder if Brea had a flu shot?
Two years ago my healthy friend told me had gotten a flu shot. I asked why she had one since she took colloidal silver. She also mentioned that her arm hurt.
The next day my friend didn’t show up for a fund raising breakfast, and we discovered she had contracted Guillain-Barre Syndrome. She was completely paralyzed except for movement in her right toe. A week later she was gone.
She was in her 70s and chose to hang with a 20 year old singles group, because they had more fun.
I’ll NEVER get a flu shot.
YAY!
You finally got your snow!
This small storm up here is just a sloppy mess.
The driveway will turn into gumbo.
*sigh*
Maine has 3 seasons:

As many other @FDRLST folks have said more eloquently, we are a close-knit staff. @Bre_payton was a wonderful writer and kind coworkerfunny and sweet, even to people like me who had only been on staff for a few short monthswho will be so dearly missed. https://t.co/cUbXOt6wXu— Liz Wolfe (@lizzywol) December 28, 2018
Thank you so much, NIKK!
I was so saddened to see that young lady Bre has passed away.
I don’t think the FLU is what killed her.
I had the full blown Swine Flu, and the symptoms that presented were Horrific!
Violent vomiting, facial pain as though someone took a hammer to ya.
Deep chest congestion, headache, sore throat, you name it.
Seems she did not complain of this to anyone, and that makes me suspect it was meningitis.
Prayers for her friends and family.
LOL, too funny.
We only have about 4in. but it’s not done yet.
It is the heavy stuff tho, hubby will be out snow blowing tomorrow.
