David Hogg is leaving the Sunshine State and shipping off to Boston -- the Marjory Stoneman Douglas student's been accepted to Harvard.
David's mom shared the incredible news this week after her son finally allowed her to spread the word. As you can imagine, she's super proud and said she's excited for David's bright future!

When I took the SAT in 1964 1600 was the maximum score and 1460 would have gotten you into any university in the country

I've not paid very close attention, but I have seem some numbers in connection to the Asian students' lawsuit against Harvard. A 1270 score would be disqualifying for white applicants but is well within range for black, Hispanic or native American students, whose threshold (not average) is about 1100. Asian students have to score 250 points higher to be considered.
So: Hogg's score is within Harvard's current affirmative action range. Obnoxious leftists are now getting minority privilege. I don't know what Harvard's range is for athletes.

Clearly, 1270 isn't up to snuff, especially for a white male, and, let's be brutally honest, Hogg would never have gotten accepted with a 1270 SAT had that shooting never happened. Hell, multiple colleges already rejected him, and he was waitlisted at UCF, and UCF accepts everybody.
Harvard is pretty much the epicenter of liberal groupthink. Hogg's worldview and "ideas" will never, ever be challenged by anyone there. Anyone foolish enough to do so would quickly find out how it feels to be part of a despised and persecuted minority.
Our daughter took the SAT at age 11 and scored nearly 1200. She took it again at 13 or 14 and scored a hundred points higher than this kid. Homeschooling pays off.
There’s no way your average white male is going to get into Harvard with a 1270 SAT. Just another fix for a leftist.
Also, they have adjusted the SAT at least once since my daughter took it by adding points to the floor so to speak. The euphemism the use for this is “recentering”. The test scores are a joke.

Exactly. Given the liberal drivel that drools from the anus American colleges today, along with the new liberal insane definition of “professor”, any sharp young person today that really wants to make a decent career would be waaaay better off learning a viable, high-demand trade at a good technical school. Then, gain the experience and strong skill sets in that trade, take a few business courses at night, then start their own business in that trade. Yeah....waaaaay better off than some insane lib SJW that learned advanced basketweaving and protesting skills.
