It's likely there will be a Schumer Shutdown, thanks to DJT & the House Freedom Caucus. If this does in fact happen, President Trump will be spending Christmas in Washington and forgoing his much needed vacation at Mar-a-Lago. How cool would it be if some of us could gather at the WH to thank him for fighting for us? Kinda like a Christmas Rally at the White House? It would't have to be on Christmas Day, but perhaps a day during Christmas week? Anyway, just an idea and since some very politically connected people read this forum, maybe it's an idea they can help take forward.

He said he will postpone his departure if the government “shuts down.” In that eventuality, I can surely be a part of any show of support. I can promote it on several of my groups and lists if we are serious.
As long as the group doesn’t get too, too big, anyone can show up in Lafayette Park next to the White House and exercise their 1st Amendment Rights. There are always people out there advocating various causes / craziness. Those who have been there know what I mean.

If the Capital was in central USA, more citizens could visit it. It would be more of the people’s government.
