Seattle Cheathawks owned him..............
Third rate quarterback, first rate agent.
Kirk Cousins is also an outspoken Christian. Yahoo and critics KNOW this. If you think the QB has been the only problem in Minnesota you would be wrong.
BTW. Except for one of the worst defensive plays in NFL history they don’t even win one playoff game last year.
He was OK at Michigan State, but not $84 million worth of OK.
I have never understood the hype about Cousins. He seems, to me, a perfectly serviceable middle-of-the-pack NFL QB. The Vikings voluntarily gave him all that money. I think they have gotten the real Kirk Cousins in return. So Cousins has not been Joe Montana, but the Vikings' issues are deeper and wider than Cousins.
It’s unbelievable that the coach hated Keenum all the way through his run. Then they got rid of him, spent way too much on a QB that’s never been better than OK, has an epicly bad record against winning team. And of course in a hard capped league when you give one player a lot of money you’ve got to trim talent. So over all as a team they just aren’t as good as they were last year. Sabotaged by their GM and coach.
Seems like most NFL teams these days want to designate anyone who steps behind center as a franchise QB and pay them big money. Well guess what, not all QB’s are franchise QB’s, some need a strong supporting cast to successfully function. I would’ve given Cousins 15-18 million max and spend the rest on some better skill players on offense.
Vikings just can never seem to come up with a good quarterback.
How many busts have they had since they came into the league?
I am always curious when a team loss is laid at the feet of the QB. If the O-Line is good, the QB can do some amazing things. The Vikings O-Line was terrible, just as Seattle’s O-Line was terrible most of this year (still have no idea why Ifedi is playing in the NFL).
Cousins is an above average QB but his offensive line does little to give him the extra seconds needed for him to develop a good play.
Spielman should have been sent down the Mississippi on an innertube a long time ago.
Zyggy, wake up.
Brady retires and Belichick would have him on track to win the next three of ten Super Bowls.

What do Billy Graham and the Minnesota Vikings have in common?
Both can make an entire stadium stand on their feet and yell Jesus Christ!
The Vikings fell into the “all we need is a QB to get to the Super Bowl” trap, overlooking “
...the fact that their offensive line wasn’t very good and their defense bore much of the blame for the championship-game collapse, and then tied their entire improvement plan to a quarterback whose career record against winning teams entering this year was 4-19.” https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2810480-qb-needy-teams-listen-up-beware-the-next-kirk-cousins
It would help if he had some people on offensive that could either catch a ball thrown to them or someone who could run the ball. Putting this all on Cousins is not a true reflection of the team. Balls were hitting receivers in the hands or bouncing off their chest and they would drop the ball. Seattle’s defensive line spent more in the Vikings backfield than their own team.
The Redskins could still use him though.
