Anyone familiar with this?
Title was edited to fir (”Revere” was removed).
It’s basically Cannabinoid Oil (no THC).
It doesn’t get you high, just kills pain and helps you sleep well. Some places say it helps kill anxiety and suppresses seizures.
But..but...legalizing pot has no disadvantages...
How the heck was she able to get the car in gear with that combo in her?
How did she even manage to get to the car?
CBD oil has only a very tiny amount of THC. You can cook your fries in it and not get high.
Sheesh!
Let's say, for the sake of argument, this woman suffered from chronic pain.
Even so, a 42 year old woman must have heard all the warning about driving while impaired.
She may have been living with pain but that doesn't excuse her for drinking, drugging, and driving.
She deserves the maximum.
Not the vaping part, but Ive looked into CBD oil (drops under the tongue) to help with inflammation, anxiety, high blood pressure and an autoimmune disorder. My son uses a THC free form of it created for athletes.
From what Ive read, you cant get high from whats legally available. Perhaps there is an illicit form that is high in THC.
There are different kinds of CBD oil. It can have 0% thc in it, which would make it safe as a medication for children even, or it can indeed have a small % of thc in it. It will be so labeled.
However, even CBD oil with no psychoactive ingredients can make you fatigued or sleepy.
Not a great combo with sleeping pills and booze.
But of course it was the CBD oil that did it - beer and sleep medication make you a better driver.
Mixing Alcohol and pharmacuticals is not a good combination for safely operating an automobile. Heck the warning is on the lable(s) /s .
Sad the young girl died due to the womans idiocy.
CBD oil is derived from the hemp plant, a close cousin of marijuana. Hemp produces only trace amounts of THC, the intoxicating ingredient found in abundance in the marijuana plant.
CBD (cannabidiol) is the active ingredient in the hemp plant. It is not an intoxicant, but can help alleviate pain. Some studies suggest that it even has curative properties across a broad range of illnesses.
No THC in the CBD oil (but can give false positives if one is tested for pot)...supposedly helps relieve pain and stress, etc. I think it sells mainly because of the novelty of being related to pot. Did a bottle of it over a few weeks and didn’t notice much of anything - and zero feelings of being high.

They’re talking out their ass. CBD oil won’t get you high but hash oil will.
