IMAGES OF THE LAND 24 HOURS PER DAY (translated from Portugese).
I think the Daily Mail has sounds of what wind is like on Mars. You can hear this little dust devils whipping past.
Trying to convince myself that’s not Holbrook, AZ.
I didn’t realize Mars had Yanni music playing in the background.
Desolation.
Looks like it ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids.
In fact it’s cold as hell.
And there’s no one there to raise them if you did.
Who took the pictures of the rover from about 20 feet?
rwood
This is what the inner workings of Ocasio-Cortes brain looks like. The wind through her ears
Have some HD pictures of Mars from one of the rovers and did my own HD video. Fun stuff and it looks impressive on an HD monitor. These pictures are free or they were free and not locked away in some vault. Thank you NASA and the US Space Programs. America is great!
At what time in the video? I saw a couple of pictures that were composites of multiple images taken by the camera on its arm. They took them from multiple angles to avoid the arm itself and its shadow.
Cold, hard to breathe, and a bit windy at times. But at least we will weigh less so it has that going for it.
Talk about wasted space, how many more planets are there like this in the universe? It’s infinite. We conservatives need to colonize one of these planets. I think it is our only opportunity to get away from liberals.
Lots of sedimentary rock, erosion and creek beds.
There is water beneath the surface.
The next mission must include sonic measures of the subsurface, and once it’s found, drilling.
When and how did Mars lose its water? And, are there organisms in the water below surface?
And if so, is their biology consistent with Earth’s?
Fascinating.
If they find microbes in the water, then it will be declared as a protected/endangered wetland or something and sealed off.
It looks nothing like the images on my local CBS affiliate. What happened to the red filter on the cameras?
Looks like AZ. Hard to believe its a totally dead planet. Wont be the least bit surprised if they find some life and it will not have any impact on my Christian faith.
Where’s the US flag? Where’s the little green men?
While I was running the Riyadh office of a UAE-based A/E company a few years ago, I downloaded similar photos from the Mars Rover and posted them to my colleagues asking “What part of Saudi Arabia are these pics from?”
I got lots of answers, all of which were on earth.
