Just heard Rush Limbaugh's morning update. He said due to Apple CEO's anti free speech "sermon", his cooperation with Apple is over.
Rush needs to find a new underdog gadget to promote..?
Finally, I think it was evident decades ago that Apple’s leadership was anti-American Lefties.
I am not a fan of Timmy... honestly Apple has lost its way under him.
Case in point. The 2016 and beyond MacBook Pro. Took what was the undisputed best laptop and turned it into a joke
It happens all the time, GE, Kodak, you name it.
Rush reiterates that he gives three hours daily to his listening public. If you check the time given to ads, he actually gives less than two hours.
After reading this, I listened to his update again (24/7 member). No such a thing. Obviously you heard what you wanted to hear.
He certainly raked Cook over the coals, but he said nothing about cooperation with Apple.
Look, in effect Apple has been a fan of users. Jobs got there fastest with the mostest more than once. He made the Apple II, which was the earliest useful PC to take off, he was first to mass market with GUI, and he was first with the smartphone. You could throw in the iPad too, if you wanna.
Rush is a tech fan, and he loves him some iPhone.
Tim Cook deserved a ration, and Rush delivered it. He did identify Cook as the CEO of Apple, but he said nothing about not using or talking about Apple products in future. Nothing.
What should be the limit of Rushs income?
Does the FCC need to intervene and put a stop to the way he sells advertisement on his own show?
Does listening to Rushs show require the purchase of the products he advertises?
Greed? Can you see inside another mans heart so well you can know his motives or are all capitalists/entrepreneurs greedy?

Oh, get real.
Do you think Rush babbles on about home security systems, stupid sheets or whatever other garbage he’s selling because he really believes all the crap he’s spewing? Do you really think it’s NOT for more money?
As I said, he already has more money than he could possibly spend in a lifetime.
There’s no need to undercut his own integrity (what’s left of it, that is) by selling this junk - just to make MORE money.
And, yeah, I think that’s greedy.
Ping to my #66.
Yep, there is a bright line not to cross, like some of the old Hollywood types pushing reverse mortgages etc.
I listen to him on YouTube later in the afternoon. His whole podcast, either the audio, or the video/audio is available. All the commercials are gone, no radio news or traffic and weather; just Rush. AND when he goes on about Lifelock or the $heets, I can skip ahead!

At this age and astronomical wealth level he could do his whole show without commercials. Only the local affiliates would run them. But I will not judge....
I just listened to it on the local Rush station while driving in to the office. The very last line was “there goes any sort of cooperation I ever had with Apple.” This was about 20 minutes ago so it’s very fresh in my mind and there was no mistaking his tone or intent.
I heard it only once so I'll take your word that I misheard. Since you have unlimited access to the update, could you tell me what word, instead of cooperation, he used with the phrase, "is over"?
Have you tried Boll and Branch sheets? I'm actually getting ready to buy a set ....
So, how are people now going to know how to configure their iPhones and when to install updates?

Unfortunately, these leftist CEO's don't give a flip, about anyone on 'the other side'.
They have thrown caution, and common sense, to the wind....in pursuit of their leftist/NWO agenda. Profits are not where it's at, for them. Changing and controlling information and products that you receive, or use - thereby controlling John Q Public, is their only concern. :-(
Microsoft actually saved Apple by making a $150,000,000 investment in them back in 1997. (Source Link) and I don't think Rush had much if anything to do with it.
“Thank God for Rush Limbaugh”, Dittos.
I realized a long long time ago... most big companies survive because of simple inertia... They have so much momentum, that it takes a HUGE single mistake, or a lot of BIG mistakes or an insane amount of small mistakes to take them out... So, they pretty much keep operating, no matter the systemic failures that happen, because their momentum allows them to absorb them and keep moving...
Or in other words, if you are less than competent, you can have a long career at a well established large company.
Many years ago I opined that when the .com billionaires “grew up” and got bored with making money they would turn in to social justice warriors and liberal political activists. Unfortunately, that prediction has come true in spades.
