The wife of a former high school assistant football coach in Tennessee who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 16-year-old player insists she’s no rapist, claiming the illicit trysts were entirely consensual.
Kelsey McCarter, 29, pleaded guilty last year to six counts of statutory rape involving the 16-year-old sophomore player at South-Doyle High, where her husband, Justin McCarter, had worked as the school’s assistant football coach. She remains behind bars after agreeing to a three-year prison term, of which she needs to serve 30 percent before being released, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
But McCarter now wants a judge to toss out the teen’s lawsuit, which claims McCarter repeatedly molested him after he moved in with her and her husband — along with his older brother — with permission from their mother in July 2014 as they were having “domestic issues” with their single mother, court records show. The age of consent in Tennessee is 18.

Public schools have become like churches...Pedophiles and sexual predators abound. And now if it’s not the school staff banging the kids, it’s their wives!
According to the lawsuit, Kelsey McCarter initiated having sex with the teen in July 2015 in his room, shortly before his 15th birthday. Multiple incidents followed, according to the lawsuit.
Justin McCarter eventually told the boy to leave, according to the lawsuit, but Kelsey McCarter continued to have sex with him. He ended up moving back into the house.
It began when he was 14....
They continued to have sex at various times until January 2016. The teen was kicked off the South-Doyle team and transferred to Fulton High School, according to the lawsuit.
School officials at South-Doyle learned of an “inappropriate photograph” of Kelsey McCarter, sent to the teen, that was circulating social media and an internal investigation began.
Seriously, if you just like cheating on your husband why not do it with adults? You can meet plenty of dudes willing to consent at bars and clubs. Why did she have to bring a FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD into it?
