To be fair to her, there are a LOT of people, including what appears to be a majority of elected democrats, who have no idea what “$21 trillion in accounting errors” actually means, and think instead if means that 21 trillion dollars disappeared or was spent incorrectly.

Nope. If just means that there is not appropriate accounting for receipts and collectables that, together, add up to $21 trillion. Note — this means both money coming in, and money going out. If you had an $11 trillion dollar input error, and an $11 trillion dollar output error, the books could actually be balanced, with no dollars sitting around, and no debt; you simply can’t know.

But she clearly thinks that $21 trillion dollars was put in the trunk of a tank, and the tank was driven into the ocean, and the money is gone now.
