Amygdalin (B-17)
What alternative, or alternatives did he use?
Appreciate your account. I’m scared of the surgery but wanted to get examples where people DID have lingering effects and disabled function.
Yeah, I’m a pessimist. :)
By the way, I was told 1 week with a catheter and 4 to 6 weeks off activity (work, exercise, etc.) This is long enough.
Look into Proton Therapy. I think there is a proton treatment center near M.D. Anderson. Loma Linda was the First. It seems like there are few side effects.
My wife and I discussed it and we decided on the surgery. I had just had surgery 2 years before for pancreatic cancer and I wanted the cancer out of me. There are some issues I have to deal with but I'm a 10 year survivor of pancreatic cancer and an 8 year survivor of prostate cancer.
I'm not recommending either procedure but I'm happy with the choice we made.

That's what my surgeon told me as well. He said it didn't matter to him as he did both procedures and would charge me the same either way. He was great. His bedside manner was great. He made me laugh a lot.
I agree. The medical profession will not treat you well. They fried my father like a tomato when he got lung cancer. They should have allowed him to die in peace. They took his money and spat him out.
I’ve had colon polyps removed. I’m done. No more of their expensive horrors. It’s in God’s hands and I have a living will so they can’t touch me. When it’s my time, it’s my time.
They told my husband he should get a biopsy (about a 7), but when we looked up how they do the biopsy and the fact that they have a good chance of missing any cancer, he decided not to do it.
That was about 5 years ago Since then he has gone to Duke medical center.
They have him on Finasteride. Look up the origin of the medicine. Interesting.
Now he has about a 3 and a smaller prostrate.
This is not a cure for cancer, but it helps to lower the reading and supposedly lowers the chance for cancer. If your readings stay up high on this medicine, then you may
want to do the surgery.
Check out the medicine Finasteride.
Plenty of articles.
My father in law had the radiation seeds. Other than turning his lower regions black for a time, he got leukemia and died about 10 years later.

Although this flushes out all your nutrients. Meaning you can get sick easily. So you have to keep remineralizing with vitamins, minerals and trace minerals (look into .
The best way in my opinion ( I am not a doctor and this is not medical advise. Do this on your own research) is to 1) alkalize your body with (lemon water), 2) then detoxify it (juicing, spiritual, chlorella, Barley grass, wheat grass, celery) and 3) regenerate with (Fish Oil, Coconut Oil, flaxseed oil, Mega doses of vitamin D3, C, B complex, e (multi tocopherols) and selenium.
Research iodine (himalayan pink salt, nascent iodine), raw bitter apricot seeds (https://www.apricotpower.com/) and food grade hydrogen peroxide, ozone and oxygen treatment.
The PSA is a chemical the prostate coats the sperm with. The PSA weakens the cell wall of the egg to allow entry. To get a valid PSA test result, don’t have sex within two days of the test.
With the exception of removing the prostate itself, which I would choose at my age, there are risks involved.
A friend of mine had the seed which ultimately burned into his colon and he had major problems as a result........
I would rather have it removed completely than treat it with all the different remedies being offered.........
Two weeks ago today, I had a radical prostatectomy using the DaVinci laparscopic robot, which is much less invasive than the traditional, gut you like a deer prostate surgery. I looked at it this way: Its cancer, its in me and I want it out.
What is so strange, and I’m told it is quite common, is that I feel fine and am in perfect healthexcept for the cancer. I figure that either I and my doctors will kill it or eventually it will kill me. Obviously, I’m hoping for the former.
To the original poster: You will get lots of advise on what to do. I decided to take my doctor’s advice. He knows about this stuff and I don’t. I didn’t get a second opinion for the simple reason that what if it contradicted the firstdo I then go for a third? I wanted that cancer out of me ASAP. But you will have to make your own call. Good luck. I hope we both beat this thing.
I OPTED for the radiation treatment. They used this big automatic machine that was computer directed to focus on the prostate and it rotated around my supine body.
Treatments were easy and quick because I was at a great private hospital that kept appointments (I hate waiting at Dr.s office)
There were a specific numbers of treatments that were completed over one summer. I also had a few chemo infusions. No after effects.
Been clear of cancer warnings in my blood tests ever since.
Be a little cautious there too. Some of those proton therapy groups expanded too quickly and some of their patients should be just as well served by conventional radiation therapy.

The SCCA Proton Therapy Center has filed for Chapter 11 to allow it to refinance and pay off debt it has been unable to pay down while still caring for oncology patients.
