Now if only you’d written in 18th century English, then I might have had a chance at interpreting it. Actually, I STILL can’t read a lot of the letters from that period. My analytic abilities clearly are diminishing with age. I wish Tennant had stayed permanently in that role and aged with it.
I would love to see a doctor that was parental in nature. I would love to see a human companion or alien that was a younger teen ager . I am sick of the companions thinking of the doctor as anything but a father figure. I loved it when the doctor was a kids show like it was during the 60s now it is aimed at adults more then children.
My husband tried to get me into it many, many years ago but it just didn’t do anything for me. I need a strong emotional connection and that came for me with the 2nd reworked doctor. I like having the doctor as a sex object, rather than a parent. Probably why I have no interest in a female doctor. But then I loved Kirk and Spock being attractive, too.
