FULL TITLE: Dick's Sporting Goods considers removing hunting supplies from stores because of a decline in sales since they banned selling guns to anyone under 21 and stopped stocking assault rifles
Dick's Sporting Goods is considering taking hunting supplies off its shelves in more of its 732 stores across the US, in light of declining sales in the sector.
Dick's, which operates Dick's Sporting Goods, Field & Stream and Golf Galaxy stores, announced a planned test-run in August, announcing it would pull the products from 10 of its stores where the sales of the gear had performed the poorest.
'We'll have to wait and see how the 10-store test does,' CEO Edward Stack said during an earnings call on Wednesday, according to CBS.
Dick's is 'looking at a number of stores where the hunt category significantly underperforms,' Stack noted, adding that additional adjustments would be based on what's 'a smart thing to do from a business standpoint.'
The sporting goods chain removed assault-style weapons from all of its stores across 47 states in February.
The Pennsylvania-based retailer made the decision following the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida that left 17 killed and 15 injured in a brutal attack by a former student with an AR-15 rifle on Valentine's Day.

Got their flyer in the mail just before Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Lots of AR15 style rifles and lots of semi auto handguns on sale.
Vegans would saying that fishing tackle is still hunting equipment and urge that it too be banned.

NO way in hell I will EVER go in to a Dick’s or Target store again.
No way I ever give a dime to the Dixie Chicks and i refuse to turn on Saturday night live.
Fact is I use my purchasing power as a tool.

And Whenever I take a poll, I lie.
When they did the gun ban thingy, I took my Dick's Card, all of my gift cards, bought ammo,and returned my membership card to the office of the President of dicks {he was hanging out at the restroom}.
What ever they do now is of no concern to me. I buy all of my golf and other outdoor equipment at competitors and I'm OK with that.
Whether dick's care about my money is up to them, I think I read that their sales are down about 4.5%.
I don’t hunt but I do golf and exercise and I no longer shop at Dicks

They need to change the name “Field & Stream” to just “Stream”.
OK by me I will never set foot in their stores again .Cabellas and Gander Outdoors have them beat by a mile
Hey "Dick", get a clue: your sales are in the toilet, people refuse to shop at any of your stores BECAUSE OF YOUR ANTI-AMERICAN, ANTI-SECOND AMMENDMENT POLICIES. Appologize, admit you were wrong, change your policy, start selling weapons again and your former customers may come back.
Refuse to do the above, and watch your company go bankrupt and die; the choice is up to you.

Liberals were reporting this breathlessly as “proof” that Dick’s made the right move.
I’ve been boycotting Dicks for about two years now. They’ve seen the last of my $$$.

Yesterday my bride said something we were looking to buy for someone for Christmas was on sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods. I told her we don’t shop there, at all, ever. When I told her why, she, an NRA Life Members, agreed. Reap what you sow, Dick’s Sporting Goods.
