College football rankings for week 14 have been released. Alabama remains the top-ranked team, while Ohio State and Washington made big jumps in the polls.
The Ohio State Buckeyes, who crushed then No. 4 Michigan 62-39, moved up four spots in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll to No. 6. Michigans loss dropped them four spots to No. 8 in both polls.
Washington, who won at in-state rival Washington State 28-15, jumped up six spots to No. 10 in the AP Poll and moved up five spots to No. 11 in the Coaches Poll. Wazzu dropped to 12th in the AP and 13th in the Coaches.
Texas A&M (22) and Fresno State (25) both moved into the AP Poll this week, while Utah State (14) and Pitt (24) dropped out.
Texas A&M also entered the Coaches Poll at No. 22 and was the only new entrant this week. Pitt, previously ranked 25th, dropped out.

Bama - with a win against Georgia - Clemson - with a win against Pitt - Notre Dame - done playing - are in the playoff. The debate centers on who will be the fourth.
I think Notre Dame is ranked too high but can’t really argue with it since they have won all their games.
I have a feeling that Georgia is going to beat Bama.
Either OK or OH State would beat Notre Dame handily. Georgia needs at least to stay close to AL. Does OK have a playoff game coming? OH does, so the unnecessary and gratuitous playoff picks are not set in cement yet.

Gosh I never thought of the Big 12 having a playoff. I don’t think they do but could be wrong.
If Georgia beats Alabama, chances are they’d both go to the CFP...Shutting out Oklahoma[if they beat Texas] or Ohio State[when they beat NW]
If Georgia plays a half-decent game against Alabama they might be a rare 2-loss team that deserves a playoff spot. As for OSU, forget about the playoffs. Their loss to Purdue — by 29 POINTS, mind you — should disqualify them from Division I football, let alone the playoffs. :-P
I don't think they'll stop Tua. Blitz a lot and slow him down....not stop him.
Georgia will not beat Alabama. I can’t remember the last time Georgia won a major upset.
“Either OK or OH State would beat Notre Dame handily”
Oklahoma wouldn’t, that’s for sure. Notre Dame has a pretty good defense this year—Damn good. The buckeyes would give them a run for their defensive money, though.
Hey Purdue is a bowl eligible team, who beat three ranked teams this year. Yes we lost to Eastern Michigan, but are 8 points short of being 8-3.
Buffalo gets a vote. To us alums, that is tantamount to winning the national championship.
The Big 12 does have a championship game. OK V. TX will play on Saturday.
Fricking Alabama is ruining college ball by being so much better than everyone else.
Until they have an 8 team championship with the winners of the main leagues this is just a fantasy championship.
Thanks.
Yes, the Big 12 has a championship game - OU vs TX rematch.
