A leading pioneer in the study of Grand Solar Minima and their effects on the planet has been solar physicist Professor Valentina Zharkova of Northumbria University. She has been attacked savagely for her theory that the weakened solar magnetosphere during a Grand Solar Minimum is the main factor in driving global cooling on Earth, but she is increasingly being vindicated as global cooling progresses. Recently, Professor Zharkova gave a lecture to the Global Warming Policy Foundation. You can view the lecture below, but it’s heavy-going. Here’s a summary of her main points:
• The solar magnetosphere is key to understanding how solar cycles influence Earth’s climate;
• Solar cycle oscillations are stable and consistent over time, so therefore predictable;
• We are in fact entering a Super Grand Solar Minimum, which recur approximately every 2000 years;
• This mini ice age will be much longer and more severe than earlier predicted, lasting 400 years;
• At the bottom of this ice age period in 200 years’ time, the average temperature on Earth will be 2C;
• The transition period into the ice age, which is usually the period of most vulcanism and disruption, will occur from 2020 until 2053.
Professor Zharkova’s research team have also demonstrated that temperature fluctuations on Earth, Mars and Jupiter all correlate to the solar cycle.
It’s the sun, stupid.
And, starting this winter in the Northern Hemisphere, everyone is going to realise that something is very, very wrong.

It always does. In the past it was not billions as there were not billions of humans. The percentages are always great even in a mini ice age which we are probably going into.

Real climatologists have been predicting the coming solar minimum and its effects for decades. At the eleventh hour, people are finally beginning to pay attention.

Sorry for the odd link, copy it into your browser for a chart of the past 5 warm periods. We are still in the “Ice Age”, but in an inter-glacial warm period.
The warm periods (going back 450,000 years) are at very regular intervals. The warm period we are in now is quite a bit longer than the previous warm periods. If past geologic history means anything (and I think that it does), we are due for a full on, mile thick ice over Chicago style of glaciation.
I believe the “elites” have pushed the global warming hoax to deceive the world from preparation for actual global cooling.

I have a relative who works for a large government zoo, in charge of a department. Big lib. Over Turkey Day dinner, I asked how a solar minimum would effect his animals and how they planned to cope. He had no clue what I was talking about. This is not even on their long range radar. Life is so much easier when one is brainwashed and one’s only thoughts are 1. Big government good and 2. Orange man bad.
