I haven’t listened to all his speeches by any means, but what I have heard from him, impressed me. He is going into the justice system after he retires, whether state/local or federal, remains to be seen.

I had a TV about 2 years in my adult life, happened to be during the Klinton impeachment time. Sports have never, ever interested me even an atom’s worth. I used to like to play some just for the fun of it as an adolescent, but I just don’t have that competitive spirit at all.
An old friend used to be play college football and probably could have gone pro but he got interested in other things; good for him otherwise his injuries would have been worse. It was in the olden days when football injuries were even worse than they are now.
Justice Roberts can say what he wants, but the 9th Circuit is a complete & total disaster. It is out of control, has a horrible reputation, is overturned more than any Circuit in the Country, 79%, & is used to get an almost guaranteed result. The brain injuries from even moderate football or soccer are incredible when examined thoroughly. A lot of interpersonal grief can come from such injuries from the sloshing brain bouncing harshly off the inside of the skull.

Self-sufficiency cabin type bloke in a Canadian forest. He is married and she sometimes joins him at the cabin. He is extremely skilled. And obviously hard working.

One thing I’ve found from living in a cabin/house that DH built himself, bit by bit, is that non-smooth wood, whether ceiling, trim, or whatever, is impossible to clean. All dirt, cobwebs, dust etc sticks to it and cannot be wiped or dusted off. There is a lot to be said for smoothly sanded surfaces! :-)

What about using medium high pressure air to blast the dust off the walls and vacuum what lands on the floor? And if that doesn’t work, you call it “atmosphere,” or some such.
