Wipe the inside of your refrigerator??

I’m wondering if they know more than they are saying about this.

It’s certainly an unusual warning. And it’s by the FDA??? instead of the CDC??

Our kiddo got a severe case of E-coli from Dairy Queen steak fingers. Nothing against the steak fingers but the unwashed fingers that boxed it up. Had years of medical expenses from that. Not a laughing matter.

Most recalls from the CDC/FDA are from products sold at least 4 months prior. That’s what I’ve casually noticed but ymmv. This one seems to be more timely.

I read all lettuce is BAD. Supposedly 90% of all lettuce is grown near Yuma Arizona and the irrigation canals are contaminated with E-Coli. CDC is not telling us why and how they are contaminated but rumors saying from people bathing and pooping in the canals.

I might have eaten some romaine yesterday (purchased prepared salad from grocery store). I am here to tell the story....

I was eating a romaine salad when I heard about the recall. I finished eating the salad and I am fine.

I stopped ever eating any salad in cheap cafes in Eastern Washington, though, after twice having issues the next day.

I got a deep fryer, a year ago. How does e-coli respond to 350 degree vegetable oil, on sliced potatoes?

Normally washing or cooking food takes care of most problems but I’m no expert. Maybe you should ask Big Brother for permission.

I’ve had e-coli.

It isn’t fun or pretty.

Hurts like h@@l, lasts about a week.

We jettisoned our romaine lettuce; will eat ice cream instead.

No salad dressing, though.

OMG!!! I got to go like 60 miles one way into “Da Hood” city to find one over here.

And WHAT-A-BURGER is all the way to Alabama !!

I had to make My own Brisket the first 3 years I was here. Eveything is Pork here. Not the same. And that Vinegar Sauce- YUCK!!!!!! (IMO)

The one place in Town that did have Brisket only made 1 or 2 A WEEK. It only came on a Plate 3 wimpy slices, warm tater salad, tolerable Slaw (too much Vinegar), No Pickles or Onion. I asked the Server for some and She had a funny look as She walked off to get them. She came back like 10 minutes later, both had been heated up in the Microwave !!! At that point I stopped and asked if She wanted to take Notes on “How to and NOT to”

Thankfully a Couple moved here from Texas and Opened up a Pit Downtown 1/2 a block from the Old Hardware Store.
They got it RIGHT and are busy all the time they are open.

Dang, Now I’m hungry. Gotta go.
