I love that movie. But Wil Wheaton is one of the worst actors I’ve ever seen.

I consider this movie to be one of the best adaptations of a short story or novel in the history of movies. Based on the Stephen King short story “The Body”. I can’t think of any differences off-hand between the short story and the movie.

I hated the movie and I have heard that Rob Reiner was involved...I hate him, too.
What the heck was the purpose of the film.
Reiner must have gone to school with Stephen King.
Both are high quality, morose human beings, who see nothing but death and destruction. Yeech.

Sometimes I wonder if Hollywood elite really are practicing satanists as their reputation suggests.
Some have said River Phoenix was deliberately sacrificed. Murdered, as normal people understand the term.

I guess my post to you was inappropriate, but I heard that it was a movie about young boys wanting to see a dead body.

River Phoenix's parents seem to be freaks. Read his wiki page. They filled his head with radical garbage and it seems he could only find peace in drugs strong enough to kill him which is what happened.

But that’s exactly what the story would be if it was an actual satanic sacrifice.
One of the most reliable ways to figure out if it’s true is to examine the character of Hollywood elites, and then ask if there’s anything in their character that would restrain them from this kind of behavior. The final step would be to determine whether they would have perceived any sort of gain in it.
