Democratic California Rep. Eric Swalwell suggested on Friday that the U.S. government could use nuclear weapons on its own citizens if they fight back against firearm confiscation.
Right-wing internet personality Joe Biggs tweeted at Swalwell in response to a May report that Swalwell wants to ban “military-style semiautomatic assault weapons” and prosecute gun owners who did not turn in their newly-banned weapons.

Swalwell is the poster child for why the 2d Amendment exists.
Swallows-well has this notion to ban and confiscate ‘military style assault weapons’. We on the right correctly decry this ignorance, stupidity and the sheer anti-Constitutional (il)logic involved.
However, we must also look to the reality. And that reality will embolden the lefturds.
In the jurisdictions now enforcing newly minted ‘emergency confiscation’ laws; laws enacted to allow LEO to enter, secure, and remove firearms from the possession of persons deemed ‘threats’ by some nameless, faceless bureaucrat or activist judge; we have watched several incidents, now, and NOTHING has happened in opposition save in a scant few instances that did not end well for the subject of the order.
The lefturds will seek to do this one town at a time, one street at a time, one house at a time...all the time knowing that, while socialism will likely never hit America like a tsunami, it WILL advance by oozing its filth, decadence and despair one small step, an inch at a time. While currently they are targeting people with ‘issues’ (domestic violence, threats of violence, etc.), it’s only a matter of time until they begin tweaking the definition of those folks who can be deemed a threat. They will get to you and to me, sooner not later, certainly.
If we don’t stand up EVERY TIME, we will find ourselves with NO TIME.

After the Katrina gun grab, a lot of states passed laws making confiscation illegal following a natural disaster.

One of the most interesting things about this whole debate is:
When the cops carry a “military-style semiautomatic weapon” it’s called a Patrol rifle.
When one of us carries a “military-style semiautomatic weapon” it’s called an Assault Rifle.
The push is coming. The push for gun control and mass, uncontrolled immigration.
Unless the President and the states can put some plans in place, the next elections will be stolen outright. Either through the fraud we’ve all been witnessing or non-citizens/illegals voting everywhere, with the help of Dem’s in Congress and their friends in the courts. And it’ll be worse the next time around.
No matter what happens in Florida, nothing will happen to Snipes and she’ll be replaced by someone just like her. The Dem’s are going to encourage more and more mass immigration and push to allow all of those people to be able to vote. Georgia is no different.
Arizona allows non-citizens to vote in federal elections, apparently, but not state elections. Imagine that..

And we can sit here and wonder why Ducie wins by 300k votes but Sinema comes from behind. Outright fraud. The Dem’s have take over the House. They will shut down the government as soon as they don’t get their way and blame it all on the President and the Republican controlled Senate, with the help of the MSM. There are still Democrats in this country that do not like where their party is headed but they’ll never vote for a Republican. So, I doubt the “Walk Away Movement” will grow all that much.

Of course, the U.S. government - dominated by Democrats - didn't have the will to use nukes against communists.
Now the Democrats say they have the will to use nukes against Americans. But only if they have to.

It won’t raids in the middle of the day. It’ll be a knock at the door at 4am. When you answer it, there will be 2 or 3 of them, paper in hand. You won’t see the Bearcat, w/ the SWAT team, down the street. One by one, they’ll pick people off.
The only thing that will stop it is, when the address comes up as the grandfather, father, brother, son, cousin, best friend, neighbor down the street. That’s when one of the jackboots “might” pause. Then the jackboot has a decision to make. Take away the rights of someone they know and love or follow the orders from those appointed above them.
Easy decision to make when the name on the paper is a stranger. A wave of reality hits when it’s someone you know.
Nuclear weapons are rather indiscriminate as to the parts of the population they tend to be used against.
Defenders of the Second Amendment tend to be individuals, and they are highly effective at sniping at the leaders of the suppression. Defenders do NOT mass in one place where they may be conveniently be wiped out at one fell swoop.
Guerrilla warfare is not at all like trench warfare or two armies meeting in a field.
The threat of nuclear warfare has always been far more in the abstract than actuality. There was never a nuclear exchange with Japan in 1945. It was all delivered one-way.
Someone has to file a complaint of the threat.
Good people need to track this down.
The NRA needs to become involved.
Not “Democratic.” Democrat.
Democrats seem to never consider the consequences of their decisions and actions.
When the consequences appear, they never take the blame.

Looks like the first battle was lost without a shot.
Federal law supersedes state law. The question to ask is: Who will do the confiscation?
Will it be local police? The Feds? If it’s the Feds, will the local sheriffs tell them to get lost or will they help? If they help will their deputies and/or officers blindly assist? What will happen when one of the cops/deputies finds out that they’re headed to a family members house? Will the National Guard be called up and, if so, will any of them show up? If they do show up, will they follow orders or will they draw their weapons, ammo and gear and then head home to defend their families and neighbors? Will Swalwell then try to activate the US military? What will they do? Will they do the same as the Guard guys? Follow orders or take their sh*t and defend the people?
During Katrina, they didn’t bat an eye. When interviewed they all said they couldn’t believe they were doing what they were doing, but they did it anyway? Nothing but mindless sheep, if you ask me.
If the military gets activated to do it, are they going to turn their guns on the millions of veterans that will likely take a stand? The same guys that they served with a short time ago?
Swalwell is an big an idiot as they come. Hard to believe that he finished law school and passed the bar. He’s proof that you don’t have to be smart to do either. His reference to nukes was his way of saying that the government has all the tools and toys to do what they want, not use actual nukes. His responses on Twitter just go to show that he has a knack for twisting things. He accuses the guy responding to him as the one calling for violence.
I think he, Ocasio-Cortez and their ilk are going to be problems for the Old Guard.
The US population in 1860 was 30 million. Now it’s 300 million with 250 milion over the age of 18 and half are snowflakes. Let’s see how well they do against an army of armed and ready patriots numbering in at least the tens of millions. Just by comparison the US military numbers around 1.2 million.
