Swallows-well has this notion to ban and confiscate ‘military style assault weapons’. We on the right correctly decry this ignorance, stupidity and the sheer anti-Constitutional (il)logic involved.
However, we must also look to the reality. And that reality will embolden the lefturds.
In the jurisdictions now enforcing newly minted ‘emergency confiscation’ laws; laws enacted to allow LEO to enter, secure, and remove firearms from the possession of persons deemed ‘threats’ by some nameless, faceless bureaucrat or activist judge; we have watched several incidents, now, and NOTHING has happened in opposition save in a scant few instances that did not end well for the subject of the order.
The lefturds will seek to do this one town at a time, one street at a time, one house at a time...all the time knowing that, while socialism will likely never hit America like a tsunami, it WILL advance by oozing its filth, decadence and despair one small step, an inch at a time. While currently they are targeting people with ‘issues’ (domestic violence, threats of violence, etc.), it’s only a matter of time until they begin tweaking the definition of those folks who can be deemed a threat. They will get to you and to me, sooner not later, certainly.
If we don’t stand up EVERY TIME, we will find ourselves with NO TIME.

It won’t raids in the middle of the day. It’ll be a knock at the door at 4am. When you answer it, there will be 2 or 3 of them, paper in hand. You won’t see the Bearcat, w/ the SWAT team, down the street. One by one, they’ll pick people off.
The only thing that will stop it is, when the address comes up as the grandfather, father, brother, son, cousin, best friend, neighbor down the street. That’s when one of the jackboots “might” pause. Then the jackboot has a decision to make. Take away the rights of someone they know and love or follow the orders from those appointed above them.
Easy decision to make when the name on the paper is a stranger. A wave of reality hits when it’s someone you know.
I think it all started when the lefties told us where we could smoke and when we could smoke.. When we didn't object to that they figured they could force just about anything on us... Looks like they were right... :(
The funny part about it is, they want to smoke their "POT" anywhere they damn well please..!
