Thanks!
We got ourselves a shootout here! Thirty seven points in the half....
I just realized the Amazon Prime feed of the game allows you to choose audio

So I’m listening to some Irish dude!!
I was so happy to be able to finally watch football on Thursday nights. It’s a nice diversion from all of this political stuff.
And a scoreless third quarter....

Redskins
Titans
Panthers
Chargers

Saints
Bears
CHIEFS!
College playoff race is interesting despite this weekend being dull.
Yet, per 538.com:
If ND lose to Syr, ND playoff chance falls to 15%.
ND win puts them at 73%
The Tex vs ISU winner: if they win out AND win the Big12 ... Playoff chances are 15% to 23%
If the 5 most likely teams all win out, Michigan is most likely to be the #5 team out. Not Oklahoma
P.S. UCF is not as good as they were in ‘17
Winners this week will be all the Road teams. That includes KC

Houston at Washington 1:00 pm CBS FedEx Field A good test for both teams to see who's for real. The Texans have rebounded from an 0 - 3 start to win six in a row. As for the 'Skins... they've had some good wins - Carolina for instance - and some puzzling losses - Indianapolis. Last week they gave up over 400 yards to TB yet somehow held them to six points. Regardless, I'm a Deshaun Watson fan and think he gets it done here. Texans,
Pittsburgh at Jacksonville 1:00 pm CBS EverBank Field The Men of Steel are rolling (cold rolled steel?) having run off six in a row after a shaky start. As for the Jags ... they're stumbling. No, they're past stumbling and have fallen down. Don't see how they can win this one. Steelers.
Tennessee at Indianapolis 1:00 pm CBS Lucas Oil Stadium Three - four? - weeks ago the Titans were shut out by the Ravens. Since then they've played like a newborn team. The Colts... well Luck is back in form and they've had some wins too. But the Titans have the better D. Titans.
Dallas at Atlanta 1:00 pm FOX Mercedes-Benz StadiumThe Cowboys have a small chance to make the playoffs, maybe as the second wild card. The Falcons were making a move before Baker Mayfield and the Browns derailed them last week. But I like Matt Ryan and Julio Jones picking apart the Dallas D and just about sealing Jason Garrett's fate. Falcons.
Tampa Bay at N.Y. Giants 1:00 pm FOX MetLife Stadium The G-Men actually won last week. No matter. Tampa Bay is a more complete team if not exactly good. But it doesn't take 'exactly good' to beat the Giants. Bucs.
Cincinnati at Baltimore 1:00 pm CBS M&T Bank Stadium The Ravens are 4 - 5 and on track for 8 - 8. However, the Bengals seem to have no defense having surrendered over 500 yards per game recently. Even the Ravens can't mess this one up. Can they?! Ravens.
Carolina at Detroit 1:00 pm FOX Ford Field That was quite a downer against the Steelers last week by the Panthers. But they've had ten days to get ready for Matt Patricia's schizophrenic Lions. Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey are gonna go crazy. Panthers.
Denver at L.A. Chargers 4:05 pm CBS StubHub Center John Elway is already looking for the Broncos next QB, as Case Keenum has shown that last year was a fluke and not the norm, or the Broncos just dont have the quality of supporting players that the Vikings did. And the Chargers.... Well, everyone knows I love the Chargers so... Chargers.
Oakland at Arizona 4:05 pm CBS University of Phoenix Stadium Wow! What a game! How to pick a winner in this.... playoff for the Number 1 pick? When in doubt take the home team. Cardinals.
Philadelphia at New Orleans 4:25 pm FOX Mercedes-Benz SuperdomeThat Super Bowl hangover is a quite a hangover isn't it? What's the difference between last year and this? Injuries? Chemistry? I dunno.... But New Orleans is playing better than everyone right now, even mores when home in The Dome. The Saints will effectively end the Iggles season. Saints.
Minnesota at Chicago 8:20 pm NBC Soldier Field Neither of these teams is a threat to the Rams or Saints as tops in the conference. But someone has to win this devision and since the Lions and The Pack are out.... Vikings.
MONDAY, NOV 19, 2018
Kansas City at L.A. Rams 8:15 pm ESPN Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum The game of the week! Maybe the game of the season....Moved from Mexico City to LA... I think LA has the better defense (Aaron Donald, Suh, etc) but I also think that the Chiefs vast array of offensive options will negate that (as long as Mahomes is protected). So... Chiefs!
Good luck everyone!
In the college ranks this week, I would love to see Syracuse knock off Notre Dame today.
And I'll take Alabama over The Citadel.
538 is interesting
WV loss today opens it up for other teams
AL/GA
ND
Clem
OK.
MichSt/OhSt
Wash St.
Teams 2 thru 5, one team is likely to lose, but two? No.
If 2 teams lose, the final spot won’t fall to Wash St.
Wash St, Tex-WV, Ga, LSU, UCF all would be in the mix
Don't think Georgia can beat Alabama... 'Bama still has to play Auburn next weekend. It's the Iron Bowl so I would not totally discount the possibility of Auburn winning. But even if 'Bama loses they're still going to the conference championship game. Could they lose two in a row?!
I thought Syracuse could knock off ND today. No way. They still have to play USC, not exactly a powerhouse this season. But I also think ND is way over-rated.
Don't see Clemson losing an ACC game and they are the only team with a real chance against Alabama.
Oklahoma.... still have to play WVU (who lost today) and the conference championship game... which is WVU again I think... Who have they beaten?
Michigan and Ohio State play next week. Someone will have their second loss and will be done.
Wazzu... still have to play Washington but the committee is not big on PAC-12 teams, especially Wazzu from tiny Pullman with virtually no national following.
My two cents...
Deshaun Watson is from Georgia!
The Terps nearly upset Ohio State!? “College Football’s worst good team” proclaims a headline.
If Maryland only had some semblance of a defense... Every time I came back in the room someone had scored. It would have been Maryland's biggest win in over a decade....
I recalculated, with the updated finals.
If only ND & OK lose:
Then AL, Clem, Big10 are in.
& Wash St 11-1 Pac-12 champ has 89% chance at playoffs.
Next in line are TeX & UCF
Well, neither of my teams are playing today, so I’ll be watching this on NESN: https://www.mlb.com/redsox/tickets/events/fenway-hurling-classic
