Wouldn't it also be true that if proof of fraud is effectively presented after certification, that the guilty politicos could be frog-marched in cuffs out of the Congressional chambers and offices to never darken those spaces ever again?

I suppose it would matter how proven the link was between the politicos and the fraudulent deeds. But at least those 'winning' their seats by fraud would be unseated, fairly quickly, right???

Good points about illegals and voter fraud.

However, I see the DHS involvement in a larger scope. DHS is tasked with HOMELAND SECURITY.

There's a serious security issue with having fraud-free voting.

I think DHS has plenty of charter to investigate every aspect of the voting fraud under the priority of ensuring NATIONAL SECURITY.

Proof of fraud before certification means that the fraudulent votes are thrown out, and everything continues as normal.

Proof of fraud after certification opens up a situation where the House (or Senate) has to decide on who really won. Look up how Patrick Leahy got into the Senate in 1987.

If proof of fraud is dropped before the races are certified, the Republicans may not lose the House.

I'm thinking that it will rescue some of these races, esp. Florida and Georgia. I'd bet they have strong evidence in AZ and CA as well. I believe vote fraud is occurring in every state to some degree.

Don't you think, though, that the elections need to be certified first in order to bring charges against the corrupt individuals? Wouldn't it be like waiting for the shoplifter to leave the store before arresting him/her?

Could a certified winner be refused their seat IF evidence shows up that puts their election into question?

State of Florida AG Pam Bondi just told the Commissioner for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement they have to investigate election fraud in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

The House (and Senate) are the final judges of whom they admit. If a race is certified and there is a serious question as to the legitimacy of the election, the House (or Senate) will make the call. Look up how Patrick Leahy won his seat in 1987.
