Idris Elba may not be the next James Bond — but he’s People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” this year.
“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?” the British actor told People when he found out he was their pick. “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’

He was an adequate Heimdall in the Thor movies. I binge watched The Wire (one of the most overrated shows in the 21st century) but don’t remember anything particularly memorable about his character.
I gave up on trying to judge a man’s looks a long time ago. I’ve seen women go ga-ga over people I think are skunks (example: Norman Reedus).
