I’ve experienced 1st hand that ivy league students and graduates are absolutely unbearable to be around. It’s unbelievable the situations in which they bring themselves up and start bragging about things from their lives that have nothing to do with anything or anyone around them and they are the most absurd name droppers you have ever met. They actually dropped the names of other ivy league graduates who no one has ever heard of and they consider knowing these people to be the biggest Pat on the back possible. They are truly horses asses.

Intelligence does not compensate for lack of training in the art of civil living.Many of these students are the offspring of broken homes and people too busy to rear children. Nannies feed them and put them to bed because it is their job. They are often the loneliest people in the world.

For one thing they’re severely overrated. Going to Harvard meant something at one time. Then quotas and affirmative action kicked in and lowered the standards at Harvard. Dumbsh*t students there still see themselves of being especially smart and intelligent. That’s no longer true.

I know a kid from modest income that went to Harvard. He’s arrogant because he’s liberal. He was a smart kid who had a liberal parents and worshiped a liberal teacher. He was taught early to look his nose down on anyone who is not on the left.

College age kids in general are insufferable. They are enthralled with the idea that they are adults and think they know everything. They don’t realize how little they know. But they always think they know more than their parents. It takes some years and some life experiences, especially becoming a parent for them to realize that just maybe their parents weren’t stupid after all. So you take this general mentality of young adulthood and combine it with an elitist “I’m special, smarter, and just downright better than everyone else because I got into Harvard”, and there you have it: a smug and rude human being. Not surprising.

During his career (years ago) my Dad worked for a company that was quite heavy with Harvard and MIT grads.He had enormous respect for the MIT grads but when speaking about the Harvard grads he’d say “you can always tell a Harvard man,but you can’t tell him much”
