From the error message he listed, he is not trying to post contents of an email. Now that may be what he wants to do, but he is somehow trying to actually post his email. At least that is the best interpretation I can make of his post.
If so, you can only post test, not pictures. Like I said before what exactly are you talking about? Don't post and then walk away and not answer questions if you expect answers.
I just sent him an email that was delivered. Apparently this newbie was trying to do something the service was not built to do.
did you try turning it off and back on?
What is “vanity” email...Are you talking about FR private messaging?
My Freeper vanity mail does NOT forward to my main mail as indicated it should in the Freeper control panel. Same error message too.
Forwarding e-mail is the service option you get when you donate to FreeRepublic. I don’t use it, but I’ve donated enough times to know what it is.
Highlight the email text, hit Edit, Copy. Hit the PM for the person you want to send it to. Then hit Paste and Post.
That’s assuming I understand what your problem is...
When you donate to the Free Republic, one of the benefits is you get your own freerepublic.com username. Mine is theraven@freerepublic.com and it doesn’t work. I was checking if there is a solution.

I’m sorry I have no clue. I’ve never even heard that an email account is a reward for donating. I have included pinging an Admin who perhaps has more information to offer, because I have none. Good luck.
The only email I am aware of is when you click on private reply which allows you to communicate privately with another user privately with an internal email type of system. Perhaps that is what you are talking about?
Heck - I don’t even know WHY I was included in the posts as I wasn’t involved in the discussion...he/she may have more problems than just the one????

Then there are two buttons to select from:
Button 1: Enable or Button 2: No Thanks
So I assume you have donated within the past year time frame, is that correct? Is the email account you registered with, still the email account that you use or has that changed since you registered? If your email has changed, then go to your account and update that email and it should work if the last time you donated was within 1 year from today. Hope that helps. 8>)
If you have your current email address in your account and the forwarding statement shows the correct email address, then perhaps it is going to your junk mail and you are missing it. I assume the email send for you would be the rave@freerepublic.com which you may need to add to your safe list so that is does not end up in junk mail. That could be another reason. You are getting it but you just are failing to see it because of it landing in junk mail.
