Dodgers were over-managed. That being said, Red Sox were unstoppable.
Kind of hard to root for either team or city since they’re from deep blue states. I’m sure Fauxahontas is doing a celebratory “Cherokee” victory dance in their honor.

I agree that analytics has gotten out of control. Apparently the Dodgers pulled that pitcher last night based on "pitch count." Are you kidding me? That guy was on a roll. He probably would have kept the Red Sox shut down for another 7 innings. Even Trump tweeted about that. When somebody is hot, KEEP THEM IN THE GAME!
That said, the Red Sox had a real team this year. They had great chemistry. A far cry from the 70s and 80s where they had "25 players 25 cabs". They are going to be hard to stop for a while.
Dodgers’ weaknesses this season exposed by the Red Sox. Suspect relief pitching and inability to score runs with sustained rallies. They played this way in April and May and it finally caught up with them.
Machado definitely won’t be back. Lack of hustle at times should have brought reprimands from Roberts, plus Seager should be ready next year.
Jansen will probably be moved to set up instead of closer.
Kershaw, I don’t know if he’ll invoke his free agent clause (his option). But I suspect the Dodgers won’t be unhappy because it frees up $30 million in salary.
Dodgers are as boring as it gets.

Probably quiet. Boston has won a ton of championships over the years (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins) and have yet to tear up their city

I like the Dodgers — always have — but I can’t stand Machado ... he’s a punk. What Sale did to end the game and the Series was just delicious in my book! Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on a great season!
