Sixteen-year-old Treasure is African-American and says she aligns herself with a group of people who are “perfect” just like her: Caucasians.
“I’m white. I’m a Caucasian because everything about me is different from an African-American,” the teen says, explaining that she has naturally straight hair that doesn’t require a weave, that her nose is small, and that her lips are the perfect size. “When it comes to black people, I think they’re all ugly, and I have nothing in common with them.”
Treasure continues, explaining why she believes she is white – and better than black people.
“I believe that I’m completely and utterly better than them,” Treasure says.

However, they aren't any more delusional or insane than the men who claim that they're really women trapped in men's bodies, or vice-versa.
Bingo. Pretty girl, but not a white girl. And with her racist attitude, well she is in for a world of anguish.
By misusing the term “racist” the left has devalued it as they do everything they touch. I know people who will use the “n-word” occasionally but not in hatred or because they think blacks are inferior, but as a descriptive term which was part of their vocabulary since childhood when it was acceptable. They are good people who do not deserve the “death penalty” treatment that the left would give them if they were in positions of prominence.

It worked for people of mixed ancestry who looked more like swarthy whites than like blacks - the writer and critic Anatole Broyard is probably the most famous example (a black Creole who looked more like someone with Middle Eastern ancestry). The girl in this story couldn't possible pull off such a "pass."
So, she self identifies a dark-skinned Caucasian?

If Treasure believes she can self identify as White, she should then support me; because I self identify as the Ruler of the Cosmos.
PS If she wants to be recognized as white, she should first legally change her name...

Agreed. She’s a plant to try to prove blacks are being taught to hate themselves by predominant culture, we need more black models and representation to save the souls of these poor oppressed creatures.

1. Yes, the girl is emotionally disturbed.
2. Yes, there are many beautiful black women and always have been.
3. My point in posting this is to show the “TRANS-” movement arbitrarily chooses which individuals are in need of therapy and which they put under the knife and on hormone therapy.
You are allowed to be whatever gender (and Facebook recognizes 72 of them) you want to be. But race is still all about biology and DNA. See, for example, Elizabeth Warren’s recent 1/1024th Native American test result.
I do hope this young woman continues her studies and gets to college where she can interact with intelligent young people of all races, creeds, and nationalities.
I'm Neapolitan (black, white, and red), but I grew up under the 'one drop rule', so I willingly accept the black label.
My wife is white, so our kids are even more diluted. Since race has never been a thing in our house, I have no idea how they racially identify. I think they call themselves beige.
The Left's official line used to be that "race is a social construct" just like with "gender." I guess they didn't like the implications of their own ridiculous dogmas, so now they've changed course when convenient.
It reminds me of how the Left's position on intelligence tests used to be that IQ was "culturally biased" and arbitrary (when racial differences in IQ show up), but all that so-called principled opposition to psychometric testing never stopped liberals from talking about "low IQ rednecks" in reference to Trump voters.
Black women have been straightening their hair since the invention of the pressing comb.
Some sported afros for a while during the 60s and 70s, but that was a short lived fashion that quickly played out.

A perm is a chemical straightening process that leaves nappy hair 'permanently' straight. It is impervious to water, and doesn't wash out. Eventually, like hair dye, it does grow out.
Hot pressing is the older, more traditional method of straightening nappy hair. After pressing, the hair must be kept dry, or it will curl again. Also, pressing generally only lasts a few days, then needs to be redone.
