A Canadian rapper has fallen to his death after walking along the wing of a Cessna plane as part of a music video shoot in Vernon, British Columbia.
Jon James McMurray, 34, walked to the edge of the wing, causing the aircraft to spiral downwards out of control.
McMurray failed to open his parachute because he held on to the plane for too long, his manager said. He died on impact in the accident on Saturday.
"He had trained intensively for this stunt", his manager added.
The pilot was reportedly able to regain control and land the plane safely.

That was Susan Sarandon.
if he had a parachute, why didn’t he have a safety wire to trip his chute justincase he fell off?
He chose poorly. RIP.
Did he rap all the way down to the splat?
Epic way to end his rapping career.
This is why we have Stunt Men and Women!

Darwin Award, no doubt.
Adrenaline junkie, talentless hack, and an idiot. There’s a grim trifecta for you.
Isn’t this the third dead Rapper in the past couple of weeks?I, for one, welcome this new trend…
True he made an impact, but his career cratered at the end
That’s a rap.
Just speaking for myself here, but I’m scratching “walk out on the wing of a flying aircraft” off my bucket list.
He either crawled sideways, facing forward and holding the leading edge with his hands, or he sat on the leading edge and slid sideways. See my post 35.
