A Canadian rapper has fallen to his death after walking along the wing of a Cessna plane as part of a music video shoot in Vernon, British Columbia.

Jon James McMurray, 34, walked to the edge of the wing, causing the aircraft to spiral downwards out of control.

McMurray failed to open his parachute because he held on to the plane for too long, his manager said. He died on impact in the accident on Saturday.

"He had trained intensively for this stunt", his manager added.

The pilot was reportedly able to regain control and land the plane safely.

Well, at least he didn’t die in a shooting, as most rappers do.

All “aspiring rappers” should switch their ambition to “aspiring classical musician” or in this guy’s case, “aspiring aeronautical engineer.” “Aspiring rapper” has too high a mortality rate.

He’s got a job, friends and likes to do extreme sports.

He’s not sitting in his basement arguing with people and refreshing Facebook all day.

So basically, I have no problem with this dude. He made more of life than I do.

Just speaking for myself here, but I’m scratching “walk out on the wing of a flying aircraft” off my bucket list.

He either crawled sideways, facing forward and holding the leading edge with his hands, or he sat on the leading edge and slid sideways. See my post 35.
